U play, U win, and U get called a Cheat - lolz

First of all i dunno who Darkixman is, but if u read this, then know that i dont really have a beef with u, lol :) ,Im just posting this for the fun of it!

Ok i joined a game 1on1, me vs Darkixman, it started out cool " yoo hark" 'n' stuff but about 1 min into game - Knife Fight - No Pre - 10k

I go factory first (being ordos) as soon as my dusty comes out i go at him with it, now he went also fac first ( being Harkonnen ) he had 1 buzz when i was in hes base with 1 dust, now during the fight i had my 2nd dust arriveing there i crushed hes buzz, right after that he got hes 2nd buzz wich my 2 dusts also killed ..... and thats where it all started...lol

Look Dark, u was behind like 2-3 seconds thats it, i dont know exactly where u spent those precious seconds but thats what happend. Build a lil faster, take most of it, use keyboard shortcuts (if u didnt).

In addition i got a nice can of spam after the game... lol, and he said that he preorderd the game and received it on June 2000 and thats why no way i couldve beaten him .........

I seem to remember something about him being bilbo and judging from the way he talks that's quite probable...or maybe it was ixfactor I dunno.

Whoever he is, does he not know that dust scouts build significantly faster and move a lot faster than buzzsaws? I think the ordos factory even deploys slightly faster than the hark one.

And then there's the sprite load delay. You know, that little pause when something is completed before the next unit starts and before the unit leaves the factory. Well, buzzsaws have a more complex and therefore larger sprite to load. (I think sprite is the right word...it's the programmed intelligence that tells the unit how to move, fire, take damage etc). Dust scouts don't have to turn and they only have one gun, saws can only move forwards and have to turn a lot more, plus they're bigger and they have two weapons. Saws are just plain slower. They move slower. They build slower. They're even released from the factory slower.

As always, with anything this guy says, just laugh it off.

Yeah I can guarantee that that is Bilbo cos he told me it was. When I played him I beat him 3 times and he never accused me of cheating ???. He seemed alright. I guess everyone has bad days or whatever.

Unzip this file into your EmperorDataSfx directory. Overwrite all the files in there with these, and your problem should be fixed. If you want to know what this file does, it's simply the original SFX files that the game uses (i.e. the references to the unit voices, and other sounds).

EDIT: Removed attachment, as it is no longer required. :)

i have never had the oportunity of playing bilbo at least not knowingly... he told me he had played me under other nicks and said something about me being a good old school player (wtf does that mean anyway?)

so i don't even know if he truly is as good as he claims and brags to be.

exactly right! only someone with no skill would:

1. Play on Knife Fight on a regular basis (this is one of the easiest and most definite ways to identify that you are playing against guys with no skill whatsoever, right up there along with 5k nothing on LOL)

2. Rush under 3 on Knife Fight

3. Not bother to invalidate the game by quitting on the newbie rusher
