Great stuff emprworm! Nice to hear from ya. Glad to hear that you a) met a girl and b) are getting in shape. I think western society is too fata$$ed! (especially our corner) Good on ya for dropping the nine, and if you're lifting weights the right way and eating a semi-plus average amount of protien, I'd bet that you actually gained a few pounds of muscle, meaning you shed a greater amount of the bad stuff (fat). Regardless of anything, continue that! it sounds like you're doing great.

Oh, and don't listen to the prune. It's sour but its not chewy. ;)

In my opinion, it's hard to get far enough to be called a nerd. As one of the criterias is to look unattractive, it's hard to be a nerd because there's always someone out there who likes you.

Well Ace, I met her on a Christian website. We sent each other a few emails and then she gave me her phone number. Well she had my pictures but I never had hers so I was very hesitant. Anyway, I called her a but kept my distance until she sent me her photos. All I can say is she is out of my league. She is stunning like someone out of baywatch. Needless to say, two days later I purchased 500 bucks worth of weight lifting equpiment. I can't wait to see her, but I want to get into better shape first. She is *very* well toned and shaped, (she herself excersies 1.5 hours a day) yowsa! She is ALL woman, I'm telling you! I still am wondering "what the...? what in the world is a woman this gorgeous doing getting to know an out of shape lazy computer nerd like me?" lol! I'm serious. TO you high schoolers, it would be like the finest most popular cheerleader walking up to YOU while you are playing a game of quake in the school computer lab while eating a fruit pie and asking you out on a date! LOL try to imagine that. It just doesn't happen in reality.

It sounds to me that she sees something in you that you don't see in yourself.

Like you said, even if things go awry <knocks on wood> you're still better off than you were before. And you made a good investment in the weights. :)
