Someone probably found a way into the server. They uploaded a index.html file and I don't think they actually deleted anything. Anyway things are still working so they didn't destroy anything.

Well all they did to the actual website at first glance was to upload a index.html file that will supersede the index.html page. Since the entire site loads off that index.php file the site would look to be down for all pages.

However they rooted the web server and most likely most of the damage was done there.

if fed2k did get hacked then you can be 90% sure that cable2ghz/gunwounds is the one responsible for doing it

I may be shutting the site down for a few days and moving it to a different server since I don't know how long this one will stay up, still working things out.
