Alright this is sorta like the other thread but what i was gettin at was off topic so i made one just for the idea.

What sorta-recent T.V serieses have you watched and loved and were then canceled or ended? Put them in order of top five favorites , 1 being most missed and so on.

My picks

1. 7 Days- government special operations program that could send a man back 7 days to fix any things they dident want to happen in a time machine.

2. Star Trek: Voyager- my favorite out of all of the star treks.

3. Special Unit 2- Anybody rember this show? About a government program that dealt with bad demons and goblins and beasties and stuff like that. Wise crackin lead charactor and the sexy sidekick. Great show. Shame it dident make it very long.

4. Home Improvement- that was a great show, still watch the re-runs and laugh. Dident like the ending but still over all best of its type.

5. Family Guy- That was a funny show. Muhahahaha stewie will kill you all.....if only he wasent a baby that is. :)

Ah how I miss all these. If only the re-runs were on more often. Just today saw the first re-run of 7 Days first one ive seen in a few years. Its on The New TNN. Im happy about that. Voyager is on once and a while aswell. Damn those tv excutives damn them to hell for gettin rid of my shows........ >:(

You liked Voyager the best of all the Treks? You liked Voyager at all? Freak! ;)

1. StarHunter: In 2275, a man becomes a "starhunter" (futuristic bounty hunter) so that he can search the civilized universe for his son, who was kidnapped ten years before. Meanwhile, humanity is changing, as the power of four mysterious genes - thought to have been implanted in us by aliens two million years ago - is being studied and harnessed.

This series hasn't been cancelled per se. But it has been syndicated, and season two will be missing two of the main characters. I hope S2 is as good as S1.

2. The Others: Unrealated to the 2002 movie, this was about a group of people who had various supernatural powers (e.g. a clairvoyant, an empath, a medium, a psychic, etc). They were brought together by these unique abilities, and dealt with things that happened to them (the Clairvoyant and the Empath were in love, but whenever they touched, their energies would make destroy nearby objects) or others (solving a murder case).

Since I don't really miss many other series, I'll let the world know what series should be cancelled.

1. Life with Bonnie: The stupidest sitcom I've ever seen. I watch it because it's in between two decent sitcoms, during one of those times when nothing else is on. I don't think I've found a single thing funny about that show, except for how pathetic it is. I picture the producer of this show dying a horrible death, and it makes me smile.

2. Enterprise: What do you get when you make a Star Trek series that takes place before anyone enforced the "no sexual relations with aliens" law? This show, that's what. Star Trek should have ended with DS9 (not including Voyager - it's pretty lame too), which I don't watch, but is half decent.

3. Rality TV in general: Everyone seems to hate these shows, yet they're still conquering television. I fart in your general direction!

Mann & Machine - Short lived series about a android cop. Hot lead.

The People Next Door - Jeffery Jones's series about a guy who could imagine anything and have it come true. It ran like 6 episodes, it was the second shortest series run ever at the time. The shortest was 'My Mother the Car' at 2 episodes.

The Critic - This series lambasted Hollywood just like it damn well deserve. Plus it was funny.

The Kids in the Hall - Second funniest show ever. We need more 'good' sketch comedy on TV.

The State - Tragically, this aired on MTV, but it was the funniest show ever! Go to http://www.statemedia.net to get aquinted with it. "Where's the mousey?"

Star Trek: Voyager - The greatest show ever!!! Okay, I'm being a smart ass. I'm glad this sheep turd was finally flushed. It single handedly killed my love of all things Star Trek. And for that, the writers must die!!!

Star Trek: The Next Generation - This was the show that made me love all things Star Trek, we need it back. The airwaves are empty without it. Thank Dog for reruns on TNN.

And who sais jolene blalock isent hot.

To be honest, I don't find her that attractive at all. She seems to be Enterprise's answer to "who gets to wear the bodysuit this time," and she was the only person who would fit it. I think it's the lips. It's like "holy Angeline Jolie, Batman!"

MechaDragonX: We seem to be on the same page here. Kids in the Hall rules, Voyager sucks, and TNG was awesome. And if you liked The People Next Door you should look up the book Lathe of Heaven by Ursula Le Guin, or one of the two movies based on it. It's about a guy whose dreams alter reality (past and present). One movie is older (I've never seen this one), and the other was a TV movie starring Lucas Haas and James Caan. Excellent read, and the TV movie is very good, too.

Kids in the Hall had great scetches, I thoughy the last thing they did was a reunion sort of come back a few years back ?

They unfortunately never aired where I life, although vacations and the Net can make up some of that.

Besides that, not much shows are conceled here, no new episodes have been made probably [ so cancled in that way ], on all of the TV channels you can get one of the old shows is probably on sometime. . .

I think she fits the bodysuit pretty well. ;D

i really enjoyed the Mortal Kombat TV show.

although the fighting was really pathetic. as soon as a fight starts, you see the stunt-double of Kung Lao being filmed. the stunt-double is a white dude with a huge bald spot at the back of his head even tho the Kung Lao actor is Asian with perfect head of hair ::) if only they had fixed the silly fighting scenes, the show woulda been perfect.

the acting/plot/entertainment value/ was top-notch, tho. it was definitely one of the best shows on TV and the fact that such an entertaining show got cancelled and schlock like "Survivor" and "The Bachelor" are popular just goes to show how small the mind of the average human is.

the series finale was quite gruesome. the series went out on an Evil note. Shao Kahn wins and all the "good guys" got killed by him and his Empire. ;D

1) Spin City - This is THE best sit-com I've ever watched. It's feaking hilarious! I can't even count the number of times I've given myself abdominal cramps from laughing so much while watching this. It's brilliantly written and the actors are great too, maybe except for Heather Locklier (sp?). Michael J. Fox has got to be one of the funniest Canadians there is. (three-way tie between him, Mike Meyers, and Jim Carey) His style is hilarious. HIs humor was well-delivered, witty, and comical. Charlie Sheen was excellent as well, but in a very different way. He was bluntly funny, but his lines were clever too.

2) ST: Voyager. What can I say? I liked it...

They should do another MASH series when we go to war against Korea again ;)

M*A*S*H...

What a quality program that is...

I hope they still show that program on any of the channels I can watch.

A lot of those shows mentioned weren't cancelled, but ended.

My favourite cancelled shows are probably:

Firefly

Brimestone

Harsh Realm

It was cancelled. They are going to release it on DVD though, and that will include the last 3 episodes that never aired on tv.

No they weren't, but many people blame that on fox, giving it the time slot of death, little to no promotion, airing the episodes out of order, not even airing the pilot until after they already decided to cancel the show in december....

The rights to the show should be sold to UPN. That is a reliable good tv network. Its a shame to waist such a cool idea. When is the DVD supposed to come out?

Just rememberd, wasn't news radio cancled ?. . it's still airing on some channels, but they didn't stop filming, it was canceld just after it got really popular. Or should the right term for that be discontinued instead of conceled ?
