Okay, the first request is done.

A GUILD AGENT

http://www.zone.ee/mattart/the-guild.jpg

At first I made about 3 pencil roughs and 1 inked version which I didn't like.

The final version took me a tad less than an hour to complete.

I also used a new coloring method, I hadn't tried before. I hope You'll like it. I'm sure to practice that method from now on, because it makes the picture look really neat and tidy. :)

Anyway, that is my version of the Guild Agent and how I see one. Of course it is inspired by EBFD's Guild Agent outfits which I like far more than the miniseries'.

Some members posted other requests so I'll look into it the coming days and try to draw, ink and colour the requested characters. :)

Okay, toodles, I hope You'll like the Agent. :)

Sorry, that's my first 'official' Dune related pic. :)

But I'm sure to send You all the latest.

Here's a little list of the characters I intend to draw next.

Duke Achillus

Kalinar Koltrass

Corlen

Baron Rakan

Prince Gunseng

Prince Copec

Yanich Kobal

The Speaker

Roma Atani

Reverend Mother

I got a lot of work to do, but You can also post Your requests. :)

I'll grab my pen again tomorrow.

i love the logo and most of the suit. the colors are great.

but you made him look too old and helpless. Guild Agents are young and virile. thats why they oWnerZ so much

Can you do Corlens brother?

(Grazzen or something, check the movies of the Atr Campaign for it)

Yeah, I recall him. :)

Oh, and Jack Leaf - greetings to Finland from Your neighbour Estonia. ;)

Uhh... no, they were pale and "greasy". One was tall and thin; the other was short and fat. And they were powerful because they represented the Guild.

FireSnake: Could you also do Piter de Vries? You're probably swamped with suggestions, but I'm a big Piter fan. ;)

Jack Leaf: True, he didn't last long (he didn't even last halfway through the first book. ;)), but he was a great character.

And crappy or not, I'd still like to see your Sardaukar pictures.

Which reminds me:

FireSnake: Could you draw a Sardaukar officer from the Lynch movie sometime?

Well, you identified with the Piter fast, he dies in the end of the first book... :)

My favorite character (as you can probably see) is Duke Leto Atreides, but he dies about 20 pages in. ;)

Thanks everyone. :)

Piter was a great character, true dat. Though he DID die quickly, I have quite an image of him (the movie and also Dune 2000).

I like drawing, eventually I'll draw pretty much all of Your requests, but as I said - EVENTUALLY. ;)

And Jack Leaf, remember - there is no bad art. Everyone has his/her own style and basicly everything You started with the intention of art, is, in fact, art. ;)

So I'd very much like to see Your Sard pics. :)

No no! This is not fair! NOT FAIR!

I drew the pictures, and skanned them with another computer... Then tried to send them to this computer through local LAN, but it didn't worked! I messed with the LAN and network options about 2 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >:(

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH! >:(

But you will see something amazing tomorrow (in this time zone), I'm not gonna show drawings, I'm going to show you something else.... 8)

Do you scan in an inked, colourless image and then colour it in a program or do you use a Digital Tablet, like a Wacom one for example?

Oh and Jack, why not simply transfer it by 3.5" disc?

EDIT: oh I read in the other thread that you use a mix of scanner and leprechaun/mayonnaise. Damn I need a scanner/leprechaun >:(

Okay, I can draw that Sardaukar.

And yes - I scan in an inked colorless image and later color it with my PC.

Jack said yesterday that he hadn't any disks left. When he found one, it pretty much demolished his PC. So that's why he used LAN... and failed... :(

You can find a magic leprechaun when You leave a bottle of Scotch on a stone and run 12 times around it yelling "Ogga-bogga-ogga-bogga!".
