If a girl asks me whether or not I think she is ugly what should I do?

Well, only to 1 girl i would say: YES YOU'RE UGLY!:O SHE'S THE UGLIEST GIRL I EVER SAW! with a weird squeeky voice too :O, somehow she also has a strange fear of...balls? i'll try to scan a foto of her tomorrow (class foto, i would never ever EVER want to be taken on picture with her right next to me :O

You could always say beauty is subjective, and going with that she is damn ugly. But hey, it's subjective...

If girl asks if she is ugly and she is in fact ugly duh, you can alway say that she is not ugly. This is lie but girl will feel better and you won`t lose anything by saying that. :-X

But in some cases true is not the best way. When you say something to not hurt somebody, this is sometnig very wrong.

Always look to the most relevant part of the truth... as above, you need not say that someone is ugly. Answer by questioning the method of measurement (question assuming no falsehood), and pointing out the subjectivity (truth), and you neither offend nor lie.

Nema, I agree with what you're saying for the most part, but questioning relativity most likely would offend. For example:

Girl: Am I ugly?

Guy:

-I've seen uglier.

-Ugly compared to what?

-Not for a seventy year old yak that was kicked in the face by another yak.

Well I would say "you look ok" though...Never say directly "you're ugly" or try to escape the question by "it's subjective", she will ask "so what do you think?" and you'll be in deeper poop :P
