The model for G-36 rifles looks like the model used in Rogue Spear...

I would say my favorite handgun is the Desert Eagle .50 caliber with its huge punch. My favorite rifle is the M4 Carbine, although OICW when it comes out, looks awesome.

My favorite is the Ruger Mini 14 and the good old M 14. They are just really sturdy, rugged rifles with very very good accuracy. Of course you cannot have it on automatic. It has to be semi auto to save ammunition. it only holds 20 rounds.lol

Another great gun is the AK 74. The enhanced version that holds a bullet similar to the m-16. It makes the m-16 look like a pile of crap.lol If you have fired real m 16's and I have, you will agree that they can be annoying.lol

I personally think that the M-16 is the best rifle ever made. First of all, there is no doubt this was a weapons marvel when it first came out (As the AR-15). There is no escaping the fact that all the allied countries use this weapon over the Ak-47 for example because it's BETTER.

Some General (Forget the name, sorry) said something one day about the AK to the M-16.

"The people who use the AK-47's are poor revolutionalists that cannot afford a M-16."

the m-16 a2 is good and so is the car-15 (m4a1) but when the M-16 first came out it was a piece of shit. My dad was in vietnam and said the m-16 was horrible it jammed really easily same with the car-15 at first several people who were in vietnam and wrote books about it agree with me. when hte m-16 a2 came out then it was alot better and they improved the car-15 but hte ak-47 is a great weapon over 50 years old and still in use plus you could swim though a bog and your ak would still work fine.but I'd have to agree with you the m-16 a2 is a very good weapon, oh and does anyone know what countrys besides australia use the stery-aug rifle that looks like a bulpup? its in CS I kno. and does anyone know if the french use hte fa-mas? I kno its french made.

Totally false, the two main issues you were looking at are simple with the M-16. You see the military didn't except the gun when it out-preformed everything they had. So it came out about 6 years after the first prototype. Issue with this is they were shoved into Vietnam to quickly.

What were the issues that I said? Two main things why the gun jamed, they used ball powder first of all. Ball powder was good no doubt, but it had a bad jamming tendency in small caliber bullets. Now the M-16 used these small caliber bullets, the very reason they weren't excepted into the military until many years after it's release.

Now the second reason, and a less one was the steel barrel. The military tended to use a different type of metal (Forget which at the moment) but the M-16 used steel. Problem with this was never really changed because people took the issue up "This guy was a genius, if he wanted a different metal he would of put it in the gun." Issue here was, the gun was a protyple and a new age weapon, I doubt the man really could of seen its effect but his success with this gun was over-whealming.

Now the gun wasn't a complete failure in Vietnam. Unfortunaly, there was the jamming issue involved but the goverment quickly gave out a cleaning kit. Now I don't know how long your father stayed in Vietnam, but the soldiers said once they kept the gun clean it was the best weapon they ever saw, and used. So I don't know WHAT your fathers talking about but alright..

actually we had more kills but we pulled out of vietnam ,thanks god, so the vietcong and NVA easily took over south vietnam.

oh and the m-16 a2 came out in late vietnam or a few years later so that may be what your talking about I mean I agree the m-16 a1 is a good rifle but it had some annoying problems (read LRRP or guns-up to really get what I'm saying) oh and my dad served in the middle part of the "conflict" but he was lucky and signed up as special intel knowing if he didn't he'd get drafted into a front line infantryman.
