Now what I wish you to do in this thread is state how you think each of the listed powers will fall.

1) United States Of America

2) U.S.S.R - Soviet Union

3) Japan

4) North Korea

5) Germany

4. Military strikes, resulting in a democratic establishment.

5. Not really an empire, so...I guess assimilation or nuclear wipeout.

The new world will be governed by multinationals, those compagnies control the global economy.

The Dutch will come to power in a series of political intrigues, political assasinations and installing puppet dictators. Collaborators will be rewarded.

1. Through moral decay coupled with UN Pandering (where the majority of the UN hates us anyway), causing our government to become submissive to a dictatorship under the UN (or similar body in case the UN is disbanded).

9. The nations of the earth will erode morally, economically and politically giving the UN ever increasing ability to influence and govern. Democracy erodes into pre-communism (a chaotic state of society where morality is relativistic and people are willing to grant power to the state to fix their miserable lives). UN eventually becomes the sole governing body on earth with absolute power over all inhabitants, global jurisdiction. All nations lose their sovereignty and submit to the single authority of the "UN". Ability to make laws and enforce laws ultimately resides with the UN, controlled by an elite group of people at the top, with ultimate authority residing in one man or small group of men. The UN will attempt to implement a global communistic government, where all power will rest with the state for a "period of time". Of course, the power will never be given up. Persecution will be unprecedented for some (notably religious people and those who protest), while for others who are on the "inside", they will find gratituous wealth and prosperity. From this fertile soil of global corruption the anti-christ will rise and rule the earth with unimaginable cruelty for those who oppose him. And like the Germans under Hitler, those who applaud him will be lavished with worldly happiness until the wrath of God is poured out on the earth and the time of man finally comes to an end.

US: They'll elect someone who left his brains in the womb and who got where he did thorough his fathers fame money and influence. This person will alienate all allies whilst the US strengths are neglected thus rendering the place somewhere that noone wants to deal with.

USSR: Already gone and due to be assimilated into greater Franco-Germany as the culmination of the RomanX NapoleonicX NaziX EU expansion plans.

Japan: Banks will collapse and they'll all commit suicide.

NK: Pick a fight that results in being turned to dust.

Germany: Merge with France to create a state of no activity but lots of hot air.

Netherlands: Gets sucked into Franco-Germany in a cloud of dubious smoke.

Canada: Used by the US to dump waste.

Britain: Looses the ability to talk English as everyone communicates in Americanisms. Declines into a puppet of Franco-Germany.

1. Economic depression caused by sticking to capitalism after almost everyone else in the world moved on to a better system. Capitalism decays and living standards drop. A violent People's Revolution removes the corrupt government from power and the USA finally joines the rest of the world in the new, socialist/communist economic system.

2. Already fallen, but communism will rise again in Russia. Except they'll do it the RIGHT way this time around.

3. Hit hard by the collapse of capitalism, but recovers quickly as always.

4. Re-united with the South after losing a war with someone (take your pick).

5. Capitalism collapses and the people create a truly Communist state.

6. Capitalism collapses and the people create a truly Communist state.

2. Russia: Economic resession, lapsing back to communism.

3. Japan: Economic rescession.

4. NK: Bush bombs them into oblivion.
