Equatorial oceans with extensive island chains, Northern Continent largely industrial with extensive mining operations in mountains whilst Southern continent is more rural with large jungle areas near coast and inland desert.

Strengths: Devious engineering. Known for building booby trapped false bases that lure forces in to ambushes. Mountain troops can cross just about any type of terrain whilst tribesmen make good assault troops.

Notes: Deal with smugglers to engineer favourable situations.

Outposts build the mighty Carriers used for building the Frigates and Fighters that they use for raiding. They also serve as a home for the people of Turan. A single outpost can hold 1 billion people, men, women and children. Destroying one of these outposts is a major offence against the Turan and a murderous slaughter. Outposts that have been destroyed have caused major bloody battles. On one occasion, a massive Turan fleet bombarded Kaitain, destroying several of its major cities, since the destruction of Outpost 3-9.

House History

House Turan has been best known for its constant raids on other Houses convoys on Arrakis. In space they are known for almost the exact same thing. Unlike Ornithopters, the Turan use small one man Fighters capable of space travel. House Turan Fighters are slower then the more advanced Guild NIAPS, but carry a single forward mounted Mini-gun and have superior armor. Not much else is known about House Turan. Their origin, their religion, and even technology is not much known about. House Turan has had constant tech trades with house Ix and in turn have been granted the Holo-Projector technology. They use it for two things: Unit duplication, and disquise. Although the Homeworld of House Turan has never been seen, captured Turan personel have described massive space born outposts that build fighters and transport ships. House Turan is a highly dangerous house, and should be feared.

Resourcing

Since the Turan do not have any metal mines or mineral mines, the Turan have devised a machine that converts spice into the unique kind of Alloy that they use. They have also been known to harvest asteroids.

Government

------------------------------------

House Turan's government is based around theivery, trickery and deciet. Each Outpost has its own governor and law officials. Turan Law is a brutal and deadly concept. They follow the "Eye for an Eye" concept.

Military

The Turan military structure is based upon a hit-and-run tactic, usually pillaging a supply convoy, stealing what they want, and then leaving before the enemy military can arrive. Army and Fleet statistics follow:

House Turan has found good allies in the government of House Ordos and House Harkonnen. They constantly trade with the Ix making them good trade partners. Turan also trades with House Tleilaxu for life support units and cloning technology in order to keep the wise elders alive. Atredies hates the Turan for the convoy raids (Turan likes raiding Atreides convoys more then anyother house). Sardaukar dont mind them much, as long as they are left alone. The Guild hates them for raids on Highliners and NIAP squads.

Strengths:Favored by the Sardaukar because of provision of plasma weapons from the core of their homeworld.Have a very good infantry force,totals up to about 1,000,000,000,000 because of tremendous planet size.(about the size of Saturn).Also favored by the Ix for large quantities of metal and gel-circuitry provided.

Weaknesses:Despised by Tleilaxu because of semi-alliance with Ix and because of raiding parties being dispatched onto the Tleilaxu homeworld.Small air force because of high mountains and usual foggy climate.

planet -titan 2, named after the moon titan orbiting saturn, which was mined for its natural gas untill the moons crust exploded by some unknown cause rendering the planet useless and charred with no physical evidence of its past mining colonies, the planet is in the andromeda galaxy with a solar system of its own although titan 2 is the only habitable planet in the solar system due to its earth like atmosphere the titans have managed to expand their reach to every planet in the solar system excluding those nearest to the sun, the colonies around titan 2 serve as mining planets and also serve as a defensive outposts, none of the mining is done by humans but machines controled by humans at the surface and at some station beneath the crust the titans advantage is there experience in the field of cosmology, they managed to travel 2 million light years to andromeda not by fold space but by traveling through a wormhole utilizing antigravity to stretch the hole large enough to travel through a tachyon was also used to stall the closing of the wormhole. titan 2's main defense is on its surface, the titans have millions of atomic weapons and have managed to hack into a spaceshuttles network via a tachyons which carry information to hack into its network and shut down vital life support systems or detonate explosives. Human soldiers arent nessesary being robotic enhancers were invented eons ago by now they were able to maintain an army of robots, not in huminoid form but in forms which are most effective in hunting down human soldiers the robotic soldiers are controlled throught a series of underground networks which are thought to be impregnable, both physicaly and digitaly. mircosensors attached to robots allow them to automaticly addapt to the enviroment making them nearly undetectable, recent civil wars on the colonized moon kronous have altered titans view of its indestructable forces, captured machinery and smuggled weapons were altered to scramble the robotic soldiers sensory machinery. alterations were made in an attempt to prevent any further attacks similar to those on kronous. The titans also managed to create mines that release extremely high frequencies which render a human, brain dead if within its most devestating range or stunned at the least if the human is fairly out of its effective range. Titans government is similar to that of communism and capitalism, felons are used for fatal tests there are counsels that govern all of titan and its colonies but there is a head authority which mainly prevents uprisings and puts an end to dissagreement within the counsels. House Titan is not actualy considered a house being it rarely has contact with anyone, its considered a rebelious house which keeps to its self, its robotic technology is kept in secret as best as possible. since they are outside the range of fold space they travel to key locations to access the guild. "house" titan does not try to interfere in anyones buisness or try to create any alliances do to its illegal technology, if caught the Titans are aware of the outroar they will cause among the imperium which will eventualy decide to dispose of titan 2 by means of atomics, at this point the titans will activate their defenses and send their atomics through wormholes- ( the primitive method being they dont have access to the spice or the technology to fold space) guided by humans in an attempt to attack key locations.

this is my house, house titan and the basic story line, my theory is you have to have atleast one bad house outside the imperium fed up with the emperor and his rules

Homeworld: Necrovian III(Large planet, with numorous inhatable moons) The Sukhoi also own 3 smaller, earth sized planets in the same solar system.

Population: 27,500,000,000

Leader: The Kensai is a born ruler, but rules with the help of a legislating body

House Symbol: 2 hands intercrossed, one hand wearing an armored war gauntlet, the other wearing diplomatic courier rings. The hand with the gauntlet is holding an olive branch out, while the diplomatic hand is crossing the olive branch with a sword

House Colors: Red and Silver

Strengths: Military is best trained military in the galaxy( on a rival with sards) and the most cunning warriors. Live on a large planet with numorous resorces.

Weaknesses: Despised by many houses for their military and stratigic prominence, it is hard for them to get fair trade.

After the Ginaz Swordmaster school was instituted, there was a political conflict with one of the best instructors, forcing him to leave the school in exile, with his best students with him. After traveling across the galaxy for a few years, they came across a planetary system that was on the outskirts of the empire. There were two fueding houses that were fighting each other over control of a few planetary moons, and one of the houses hired the renegade swordmasters to help train their army. After the war had been won, the leader of the house became an extremely cruel and unruly leader, so the citizens and the army revolted, under the leadership of the swordmasters. The people installed the swordmasters as the new leader of the house, which then became house Sukhoi, after the renegade swordmaster who led them. The swordmasters changed the name of their group to Kensai, which was an ancient terran term meaning "sword saint". They changed the name so that they would not be confused with the actual swordmasters.

As the empire grew, House Sukhoi was forced to fight more often to defend itself, as their planetary holdings went from being imperial outskirts, to prime imperial real estate. While the Kensai, like the swordmasters, try to solve problems without bloodshed, the constant fighting has kept their military top notch. The Kensai and House Sukhoi were proclaimed outlaw by one of the earlier Corrino emperors, who wanted to take the land with its vast resorses for his own use. However, after the Sukhoi defeated the Emperors Sardukar, the Emperor made Kensai a legal leader of the holdings of the Sukhoi house.

The only military that can even compare to the power of the Sukhoi military is the emperors sards, because ALL of the Sukhoi troops undergo at least basic swordmaster training, while officers are the equivelent of a full fledged swordmaster.

Their disatvantages are that since every troop is so well trained, training takes a long time, so their military does not grow very fast. Another disatvantage is that while they are almost unbeatable one on one, they have limited supplies and CAN be overwelmed by other houses, even tho it is not easy

maybe, maybe not.

Your technology does not matter nearly as much as training and stratagy. And cyborgs would be a fairly lethal addition to an army because they combine the power of a machine with the intelligence of a human mind.

And machines are not invulnrable. Remember, the entire Dune storyline was started by the Butlerian Jihad, humans rebelling against machines...

but humans are behind my machines and cyborgs are too expensive for and army leto could barely afford the robotic parts for rhombur i think his name was... on the other hand there are enhancers, and i think that would work out better being there is no surgery needed you get about the same results and any soldier can use them
