remember those treachurous germans? ;D they would go down on their knees and beg for help, but if you show mercy, and turn your back on them.. they will pickup their gun and shoot you in the back. and yes, it's a great game. The graphix looked very good at that time, with all that futuristic fancy smancy stuff.

Yeah I remember them. No matter how much they begged, I shot them anyway ;D

I simply like calling the mudokens and watch them get beaten to death or shot to death by the sligs or mind-control the sligs and get them to beat up a mudoken or jump down a floor :)

  • Syndicate Wars (lots of fun!);
  • Battlezone (yes, it is still being played online);
  • Descent;
  • System Shock 2;
  • F-19 Stealth Fighter (if only for its being the only flight sim featuring the thing... why hasn't it shown up anywhere else?)

Oh, if we're going to bring console games into the mix...

  • Metroid (NES);
  • Super Metroid (SNES);
  • Ranma .5 Super Battle (SNES import, not to be confused with its lame prequel which did have a US release);
  • Shadowrun (SNES);
  • Shinobi III (Genesis);
  • Rolling Thunder 2 (Genesis);
  • Cybernator (SNES)

Arcade titles?
  • Space Gun (Taito - kudos for the selectable bombs);
  • Search and Rescue (SNK - only game of its genre with a jump button);
  • Steelgunner 1 and 2 (Namco);Night Strikers (Taito?);
  • Starblade (Namco);
  • STUN Runner (?);

yup, they could also carry grenades and bazooka's though. It was about running around with your team and killin every soldier in sight and blow up all buildings.

yeah, Z was pretty cool. Hard too. But it was realy fun that every vehicle needed a soldier, and that you could shoot that soldier out of the vehicle and use their vehcicle against them. Also infantry had several stats like intelligence which was pretty cool

it did require a special play style though. VERY agressive that's for sure. Get as many territories asap
