rogue1896 Posted January 20, 2003 Posted January 20, 2003 well to be honest i'm not totally sure if C & C generals will even run on my computer. i'm just doing this b/c it IS a tournament and i feel like playing ebfd. so if but some sick, twisted way i win the tourny is there any way i could just give the copy to the 2nd place person? and maybe get some kind of honorable mention, or maybe a parade in my honor? ;D
guusr5644 Posted January 20, 2003 Posted January 20, 2003 i would join but the following explain's why i cant:1. i havnt played for weeks now wo im out of practice.2. even with practice any player can beat me easily...3. i never learn from losses so nothing could help me :-4. no one will have the time to train me..well that explain's it.. and i rather buy generals with my own money.. (bar mitzva had past so i have lots of money ;D ;D)
Nyarlathotep Posted January 20, 2003 Author Posted January 20, 2003 WolfTiger, it's also the fun of the tournament, not just the prize ;D

SurlyPIG Posted January 21, 2003 Posted January 21, 2003 What's the reason for having fisher's plain as the default map? These are 1v1s are they not?...An 8 player map with 2 players?...Wouldn't it make more sense to have something like sandy pass...it's more symetrical too.
Harkdawg Posted January 21, 2003 Posted January 21, 2003 What's the reason for having fisher's plain as the default map? emprworm Posted January 21, 2003 Posted January 21, 2003 allright. ill sign up. crates are now off I hear. But let it be known: i play knife fight! :)emprworm: seattle, WA, USA: PSTand i like FP as the default, btw.if someone refuses to play KF, we play FP. thats how it will be with all my games- assuming i have more than 1 game...he he

However, if they can't agree, Fisher's plain will be the map.
emprworm Posted January 21, 2003 Posted January 21, 2003 ya, esp with the three minute rule gone, having FP as a default forces it to be an actual game, rather than a 60 second gas rush- of course that could still happen on FP ;)
DjCiD Posted January 21, 2003 Posted January 21, 2003 I think everyone shoul download the mappacks to make it more interesting... that way there are more maps to agree on and you dont get stuck with Fishers ;D

Timenn Posted January 21, 2003 Posted January 21, 2003 You know that you must speak English eh, or at least put a translation, or use IMWell, if more people are against Fisher's Plain, there is more reason to keep that rule so people will agree with each other on the map easier ;D
guusr5644 Posted January 21, 2003 Posted January 21, 2003 lol hebrew is meant for ppl who wanna talk private hehe ;D just kidding i wont do it again :-X
