Since I'm more than likely going XBOX, I'm interested in what games people have or think are good. Personally, I'd like to play Deathrow (sports/action), Medal of Honor (I never got to use it on my computer......wasn't good enough to play it), Splinter Cell (looks great and nothing but fantastic reviews).

Do you have any of these or any other ones you like? What games are you interested in?

One of my brothers has TC - Splinter Cell its cool, I like it. I have MechAssault (which is a GoLive game). I also have Blood Rayne the comercial has that hot vampire chick and it goes "Turned on or scared off?" its a cool game I cant wait for PSO -Phantasy Star Online had it on the Dreamcast (and played online wthru seganet) it was awesome and Xbox can only do it better.

You should see the trailer from the OXM magazine, geez that's sweet. But the demo sucked lol.

Good games are Halo, Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, and Dead or Alive 3. Can't wait to play the new ones coming out soon.

I saw the trailer for Halo2 on the OXM demo. Can you believe all of that was renderd in real time? Thats what the game will look like!! Simply amazing! ;D

Anyone play THE THING? I saw the movie not too long ago with Kurt Russell...not too bad. Sounds like a Resident Evil type game. I've never played anything along those lines, so that may be interesting.

Medal of Honor should impress me, considering the last system I myself owned was a Genesis.....hehe.

undis, yeah I rented it, it was very cool. The trust factor is well done, but some levels were so hard it seemed useless (like monster after monster after monster from every side and limited ammo)

Well, I don't know much about XBOX and PS2 my brother is an expert one, i'd ask him to post himself however his english is not good yet, so I ask him about it and try to translate.

The OXM is Official Xbox Magazine you can get it at any EB or anywhere they sell xbox games really, and magazines. And taq I couldn't agree more :D Ok calming down...

That game will send a lot of people to there happy place =) haha

Taqwa, what games you thinking about getting for your kids/ yourself. Out of everything mentioned here, the only one to warn you about would be Deathrow. From what I hear, the game will actually call you a Mother ****** and there is no language filter, so that could be a problem for young kids. Though I heard and saw worse when I was growing up... =)

Aside from something like Medal of Honot, I hear Battlefield 1942 is coming also. That game looks pretty good on computer...my computer couldn't handle that, since I know it crashed with Medal of Honor.

I'd like to see a strategy game on the console. I know PS2 has Romance of the Three Kingdoms and Pacific Theater Operations (an extremely deep strat. game.....used to be on snes). Maybe even an RTS.

Course I'm always up for a football game. Can anyone recommend one: Madden, Fever, Sega's game? Any one of them really good?

Some guy told me that in the US the Xbox only costs 200 dollars now. All of those people who spent half their life savings to get the first freighter shipment...serves them right. ;D

Yea, it's $200 now and comes with 2 games and the improved controller. I think that is a good deal for the value.....especially consiering its like you are buying a computer dedicated to gaming. Actually, the X's specs are better than my computer :)

Maybe it does.......but with the XBOX (or any console), people don't have to worry about upgrades or have to worry whether or not the game will work. You don't have to go to tech support and tell them your processor type and your mohterboard or whatever else. That's one of the reasons I am likely getting the Xbox.

It's basically a great computer at a low price =)

why yes, if all you want to do is play games and nothing else that a PC can do then get a console.

i would want a original nes and games that always work and no need to try to get games to work.

Well, I can use MS Word/Excel/Powerpoint/Access and some of the other important applications on my older computer (a little over three years old). I don't need to buy a new graphcis card for that...but I would to play Medal of Honot =) Instead of a new computer though, the XBOX covers the games at a cheaper price.

true, and not to forget that multiplayer is totally free :)

Yea, playin next to some friends is completely free. That's another plus. Then there is always an online option, just like PC. Except with XBOX, there is only one interface for online instead of several.

Yeah its kinda like Sega.net but its Microsoft... kinda of funny tho... MS helped Sega make the DC I wonder if they had any hand in Sega.net? Now The Sega DC is history as well as Sega.net wonder if its couse of the Xbox ;D

And for those of you awaiting DoA: Extrem Volleyball you'll also like Outlaw Volleyball (makers of Outlaw Golf). Some of the shots I've seen match those of DoA:EV Love those Juggies ^-^
