Im glad they Linked Gobs site to the Emp page.Yeah Im sure if you go into the Gaming Forum you can find more replys in there... beware this topic may go to.... but who knows.I have never played RA or RA2 or anythgin except EmpBFD, CnC Renegade, did the Beta for Earth & Beyond, and when ever thedisk gets here I'll be testing Generals too. Emp is a great game. I'm sure if you like RA@ you'll like Emp. It also helps if your a Dune Fan ;D But go ahead bring the guys from the closed RA forums over here. Make a space inthe gaming forum and then go get EmpBFD and we'll see you on Arrakis. Khan Posted November 18, 2002 Share Posted November 18, 2002 RA2 is much better, Emperor had horrible graphics and RA2 had a much better plot and the to campaigns were really different unlike Emperor's campaign whcih ended up being the same for each race. Has most people on here have stuck with it a long time even when theres cheaters on it. (Lets leave the ra2 grapix out of this heh.. :P) I think Ra2 can be quite fun because it has a fast engine, Although it gets very slow in late game with 6 players.. They need more Mechs!!! like with the Harkonin they have the devestater!! Well If you have a good grapix card like A TNT/VooDoo Or a geforce, It looks pretty nice, The only strat game i know with such a good grapix display like emperor is C&c Generals.. Emperor has much better gameplay and more interesting units.3. The plot behind Emperor Battle for Dune is better than RA2.4. Those little gold shaft things in RA2 don't give you money fast enough. Emperor's spice fields are more than fine when it comes to regeneration of funds.I got bored of RA2 quite quickly after I finished the campaigns. However, I can keep playing skirmish or the campaigns in Emperor Battle for Dune and never get tired of it!
