The last two kinda turned into flame wars....But they lasted a good long time before that.

So any one up for another try. I am, Dam right i am.

The Year is 3030

A massive apocoliptic war has hit the earth. Radition has seeked into the grounds of many places, Creating...Elves....Orcs and ect.

They fight for the sqaubling resourses left on earth. They also look to the stars..Wishing to expand and colonize other worlds.

But Earth is not the only place whare Chaos Reigns supream. Dozens of differnt races arcross the galaxy wage war apon each other. For land,for honer, just cause.

Now lets get down to the thing we all know and the love

the rules.

No god modding.

Superweapons are alowed, make them scientific, and have a way to stop them. IE if you say we prepare to fire the weapon you have to give them atleast a chance to defuse it or stop it.

Races can have a infinte number of worlds, but not forces, food or material, Dont say. "We send a fleet of 50 ships that magical apeared to atack that world." Things take time to build. Build up a econemy and goverment before expanding.

Try to make your race original as you can...

United Worlds Republic

A relative young faction. The 4 founding planets originally sought protection against militant factions surrounding them. These were the planets Horus, Entek, Romulus and Remus. Despite the numerous differences, each saw the dangers threatening them and formed an uneasy pact. Internal relations gradually became less hostile. Since then another 12 planets joined, and the Republic thrived, both culturally and economicly.

The government seats on the capitol world of Romulus, where general policy is made.

Government

The people elect a parliament democraticly. Parliament members then elect a formator, who decides the composition of the actual government. This government can only make major decisions if they are approved by the parliament (a formator will thus likely compose a government with different parties to ensure the government can count on the majority of the parliament). Currently there are 18 major political parties.

Military

In times of war, the government has the authority to force conscription. The fleet consists of 33,500 destroyer class vessels and 5,000 battlecruisers. Ships are equiped with shields. The most common weapon systems are plasma disruptors and anti matter torpedoes. For weapons of mass destruction, this faction still relies on nuclear weapons.

Weaknesses

If there is any major weakness about the Republic, it is bureaucracy. The elaborate system of councils making decisions that have to be approved by other councils sometimes lead to a lack of action, wether it be economicly or military. The Republic also showed multiple times in history a lack of strong leadership.

The magical kingdoms of Aramon. It is especially powerful in the earth spells, and possesses an impressive land force of knights, foot soldiers, archers, acolytes and also has a considerable navy. The land is also blessed by the presence of the gold dragon who aids the citizens of Aramon when they need is most desperately with his incredible power

The Kingdom of Aramon is led by the young mage king Elsin. He is a bright and strong young man that inspire the great armies of Aramon. People respect him, and follow him whereever he goes.

Based on Earth the Elves have there empire on the Europeian continent. There main cities are in the forests of Britain and Scandanavia. They are adept at magic and marksmanship. They are famed for there snipers and tthere ability to ambush. They are intellegent, fast and agile which generally makes up for there lack of strength. They use the following weapons: swords, assault rifles (either Steyr Augs, SA80's or M16's), sub-machine guns (Spectres or Uzis), pistols (Colt 45's or Barretas) and some laser weapons but these are very limmited. The Elves make use of few vehicles but the ones they do are: Cascavel armoured cars, Crusiers, Eurofighter's (very rarly though because of lack of fuel) and APC's. They have a socialist system of government (which works as Elves are not as greedy as humans) which is currently lead by Comrade Willowleaf who was once a female diplomat who was voted into power because of her obvious leadership. She has sent her best student of deplomacy to find other factions on Earth.

Other info: the argonians live in 3 great worldcrafts, floating around in the clansunion, the empire of the Cheblon (I don't play them too) each ruled by a great house (The Sol, the Moon and the Nam), each house is then ruled by a duke, the dukes then elect a high duke, who is the ruler of all Argonian. The Argonians make it by trading/priating in the clansunion, and are as such only losely organized. but in time of need they can gather great fleets, and fight to the death for their dukes.

The Council gazed at the image hovering centimeters above theire table.

It was a shadow, one of their scouts checking up on the younger races.

The Shadow empire had created interdeminsional portals and transported theire enter speices from Europa two a new universe to fight the Feared ones.

They left a few scouts around to fallow the new younger races in theire old deminsion.

Sealing the gap behind them. Only a few relay stations were left in the entire galaxy to create pinpoint openings into the deminsions to send messeges.

The messege was short.

The senimit was felt throughout the chamber the younger races in their deminsion

The war was not going well for the shadows.

They were loseing on nearly everyfront.

The Lexxa2 was destroyed taking with it any hopes of a super weapon.

Shadow scientists still worked diligently to create new weapons.

"We need to launch a surprise invasion of somesort, cut a wound in theire weakest leg." Councler Taio stated.

"We dont have the resources to commence a major atack on the feared ones. Everytime we launch a offesnive we have to pull resourse from one front, weaking it. Are best hope is to wait for the super weapons devoplment to complete."

"We do not have the time." Taio said adding a telepathic boost to it, as if slamming his fist on the table in anger.

"Enough both of you. If you devlop a way to launch a offensive without weaking are forces more, than do it, and show us at the next council meeting. if you find a way to speed up superweapon production tell us next meeting. untill then this meeting is andjurned(sp i know)

The 12 members of the council of Julius left silently each planning scemes and battles that could help win the war.

"...are you crazy, I'm not paying 50 firebirds (clansunion currency) for 100 tons of diamonds, maximum 10firebirds" the high duke raged "please, my lord, I have a fameily to support, 25 firebirds at least" the cheblon said "I ought to break your arm if had any, done" the duke said "ok, I've want 3.000 tons of diamonds at the Iron griffen, in two hours, I'm leaving for Ravvana, in 3 hours" "but of cause" the merchant said

3 hours later the Iron Griffen was moving into warpspeed and heading for Ravvana

Captain Verbic looked outside from the bridge as the new vessel "The Alexander" left the space docks. It was the first of a new class battlecruiser, naturally named Alexander class, after the first one.

With the recent expanding of the Republic to the 16th planet, Athens III, the fleet was in need of a ship that could travel fast between the stretched Republic borders and still dish out major pounding. The Alexander was the solution. She had been chosen to lead this new ship. She had been chosen to lead this ship, and had already received orders of her first mission.

Congratulations with your new command, captain. Now you will receive orders for your new mission. The science station Entek III on the rim of the Entek system is close to making a major scientific breakthrough. Previously the station had little value to us but 2 days ago the lead scientist Dr. Borhard published a paper on behaviour of quantum particles that raised a lot of attention. The theories he poses could mean the dawn of a new weapons era. You will ferry a number of scientists to the Entek III station who will help with further research. You will also transport some new research equipment that has been alocated for this purpose.

Ferrying is hardly a mission however. You will also need to run patrols around the station. The Entek system shares its border with the shadow empire and we do not wish to risk the safety of the station now it has risen in value. There are other vessels in the vicinity but we believe we should make a gesture that we are serious by sending our most advanced ship as guard.

Strenghts:

The Argonians are a people of warroirs and merchants, as such they make good pirates and traders, they also honor the warroir prencibel, so they are tough fighters.

Weaknesss:

as mentionet before the Argonians live in 3 great clans, ruled by their own duke, and act as a result not always a unified empire.

meanwhile, on a stray Nam frigate, "captain, we have something on the PSI sensor (a sensor that senses brain acivity), it seems to be one of the legendary shadows, should we try to contact them?" said the crewman manning then sensor stuff. "so we should" the captain said

So far Elvish diplomats have found only one race which is that of the Dwarves (I'll control them like last time if thats ok?). The Dwarves have agreed to intergrate into Elvish society as craftsmen and miners. Work has begun on a space project for the Elves but it will be a while untill they are ready.

a fewhours later, the Iron griffen was leaving Ravvana, the high duke had sold all his diamons for 100 firebirds a 100 ton and now he was heading back to the Sol crafworld.

meanwhile somewere in the vecinity of (cheblon) clan Delphi, a small Argonian frigate is being presued by 3 priate cheblons firgates.

"this is Delhpi space outpost 4, you are now in the area of clan Delphi, turn your time-lapser off, and cease fire whit the 3 cheblons merchants, of we will open fire" the message was clear. But still captian Sol'Airan couldn't just give up her ship and crew, she called back "we are being presued by Pirates, and are merly defending ourselves...." she never completet the sentence, as the great laser of Delphi space outpost 4fired her and her ship.

The Feared onces ship rocked and shimied as another torpedo impacted along its hull.

The shadows had launched a small raid on a lightly defended outpost.

Strange though, even for being lightly defended there were only 3 ships gaurding the food stuffs and mineral deposits.

Reports similer filled across the galaxy, they were planing for a big push against the shadows, but whare?

15 shadow ships had been sent to raid the outpost, more of a prob then a actaul atack.

the shadow ships were upgraded with borg tech from the old dememinsion.

13 of the shadow ships were traditional shadow ships.

the other two were shadow borg cubes constructed in the new deminsion.

The feared ones ship exploded leaving only two ships.

The backed up into a defenseive position. Tenticals waving infront of the main body to take the impact of a atack.

phhhhhhh phhhhhh phhhhhhh repeated as dozens of photon torpedos were launched from the ships overwelming the two ships and destroying them in a pinkish explosion

The colony lay on the planet below. 90,000 feared ones. Ungaured. This would a nice payback for the destruction of Kaq several months ago when 50,000 shadows had died and 60,000 aracndid solders.

The Alexander had been patrolling around the Entek III station for about 3 days now. Sofar the shadows hadn't given them any trouble, and captain Kilija Verbic didn't expect them to give her any trouble this time (yes, captain Verbic is a woman) The scientists hadn't yet provided them any information, and neither did they receive any additional orders from the fleet admirals. The scientists did send over 300 transmissions to the fleet headquarters on Romulus. Verbic didn't enjoy being left out of the discussions, but that just comes with the job as she knew.

That day they received a communique from fleet headquarters, admiral Kerensky specificly. Verbic went to her readyroom and viewed the message in private, for it was top priority.

To captain Verbic, RFS Alexander

Captain Verbic, you are to immediately transport Dr. Borhard and the rest of the stations staff and a shipment of cargo they will point out to Romulus immediately. Do not discuss any of the missions details with anyone except your senior officers. This mission is of the utmost importance to the continuity of the Republic.

Admiral Kerensky out.

Verbic read the briefing through, and thought to herself, "what mission details". She adressed the science officer.

"Ensign Thomson, contact the station and send a request for them to prepare for departure immediately. A transport shuttle will be dispatched to receive them and their equipment (are transporters allowed? you know, the ones form Star Trek?). That will be all.

The scientists had already pakced their stuff, and Verbic resented that they received their orders earlier then she did. All part of the job, she guessed. Half an hour later tey were ready to depart. They waited another hour to wait for the RFS Constantinople to replace them as guard. Then the Alexander engaged the warp engines and headed for Romulus, to arrive there 2 days later.

A diplomatic ship is dispatched from Romulus for the Argonian empire, in hope to establish dialogues about possible trade relationships.

Sol'Sard was walking forom the dock of the Sol worldcraft to the main council chambers, he was told that imprtant desisicon were to be made.

Sol'Sard took his place, in the inner circel reserved for teh elders, master mercahants, warlords, and emmesaries form the other clans, and the ambassador form the clansunion. the chairman rose and said loud "My brothers, we have grave matters to discuss, first, one of the Sol firgates were destoryed in the Delphi system, while it was defending itself from pirates, the Cheblons attaciked it. ambassador, explain"

"dare not adresse me in that tone, my cheblon brothers would never do such a thing" the abassador raged

The diplomat rose and spoke "greetings, elders, my high duke, warlords, master merchants and fellow diplomats, I have come to offer you trade and peace, in the name of the United orlds republic. as a sign of trust I'll give you the cordinates of our empire"

"thank you, we accpet your offer, but if you dubbelcross us, you konw whats can happen" the Sol'Sard said

"third." the chairman said "the Nam clan have made contact whit the shadows, and offered them peace" "applause from the council

OOC: There are around 45 shadow scout ships left in your demension they are fitted with fussion cutters,Photon torpedos,Quantom torpedos and phasers. They are quite formindiabul, being combined with borg tech from the original age of chaos thread they can adapt to weapons fire after several shots.

The shadow council formed again. Recently after destruction of the feared ones coloney.

"We conqured a ungaurded coloney and slaughterd 90,000 feared one civialns.a major victory indeed..." councler Hajo said sarcasticly.

"They are abviously prepareing for a massive operation against are forces. Most likely they will try to brake are stronghold of Ugina. It is are only stronghold left in that sector, we have funneld ships and suport and lunached numerous raids from there. If i was there i would atack there. From there they can atack are weak southwester and southern flank. In which we have nearly no defenes. I sugest mining the jumpoints around that area with interdicter mines that we have recently devopled." Councler Bob stated.

"Tell me of these mines." Head councler Jalialoqiosidoua said.

"They pull a ship out of hyperspace or faster than light travel. Before the eney ship can react the mines latch on and detenate 1 gigaton fusionwarheads." Bob stated.

"For the love of homeworld thats enough to wipe out the entire world." Tao said shocked.

"Yes it is thats why i sugest we abanondon it just before the waves hit us. When the enemy ships have been destryoed we atack one of there weaker worlds in a strategic position and use it as a vantage point to launch a counter atack." Bob finished.

Jal stated with uneasyness."Very well begin placement of these mines. and evaction points on the planet. However it is up to you Major General Ryao and your intelingence wing to tell us when this wing will it, or even if it will hit. Tao begin harrasing the enemy suply lines and atacking the weaker worlds." Meeting dismissed.

The diplomatics, meanwhile continue their dialogues with the Sol clan. A proposal is made to exchange the Republics dashium (a metal, commonly used in the construction of ship hulls) with the clans for some other material, since the diplomats do not know what the Sol commonly trade in.

Verbic looked from the viewscreen in the ships bar to the planet below. Romulus. The prosperous capitol world of the Republic, a population of 2 billion people. It had vast cities of skyscrapers and endless fields of forests. Truly a paradise. Such happiness and wealth however tend to rouse barbarians, and because of that 249 years ago the planets council formed an alliance with the twin world Remus in the same system, who wasn't as wealthy as Romulus, but still had enough riches to be attractive. In the same year the more or less befriended planets Horus and Entek expressed their wishes to join the pact, and so they did. Thus the United Worlds Republic was born. In the following centuries another 12 planets joined. The most recent expansion was the planet Athens III. The member planets slowly adopted a mild socialist system. The effectiveness of this system rsulted in the prosperity of the member worlds of this day. Each world elected an own government, who had on their turn a seat in the Republic parliament. The Republic parliament elected a cabinet of ministers that made general policies, wich had to be approved by the parliament however. Sometimes this system lead to endless discussion, but it hadn't given any major problems sofar.

But enough history, Verbic thought. The ship had been ordered to remain in orbit until further notice. With nothing else to do, she joined the senior staff in the bar to have a glass of the famed beer from the planet Horus.
