ethan Posted October 25, 2002 Posted October 25, 2002 I really don't get how people get so many posts apart from spamming im online everyday. and i post about 10 times a day, so, i got that many posts. sometimes im home all day and post about 50 times.
ken124578 Posted October 25, 2002 Posted October 25, 2002 This board is different from all the other ones, its an good community and mature posts are posted.I think it has also something to do with the different kinds of boards, without the "generals, strategy, games" boards these boards would probably be dead in just an month or so.
Gerf Posted October 25, 2002 Posted October 25, 2002 i like this forum a lot, it gives good advice from sensible and mature people, who dont put u down for being new to either the game or the forumi dont think that u should look for member number to find quality advice, just because someone is new to the forum, doesn't mean they dont know much, it just happens they registered later than everyone else, maybe through no fault of their own
Acriku Posted October 25, 2002 Posted October 25, 2002 But with no knowledge on the members, it would be logical to question an elder of the forums, as they have the likelihood of knowing it.
Desert_Eagle25 Posted October 27, 2002 Posted October 27, 2002 One way is to check out their profile and then click "Last 10 Posts" read them and decide for your self.
nemafakei Posted October 27, 2002 Posted October 27, 2002 How about go by the idea of a reasonable minimum...If they have more than, say, 800 posts, and a member number of less than, say, 800, and their most recent posts seem reasonably constructive and useful, then ask.Even better, ask two or three people.
Digital Guerrilla Posted October 28, 2002 Posted October 28, 2002 That could also be misleading Nema because look at some posters member number and then look at their post number and you know they have been around for quite sometime. For example Fed's member number is a high number and he has been here forever. ;D I guess he did not register as soon as everyone else did. :-
nemafakei Posted October 28, 2002 Posted October 28, 2002 Hm. He got a new account. Hence Q72.But just ask people who are active... it's hardly easy to go wrong...
Timenn Posted October 29, 2002 Posted October 29, 2002 Just ask that **** question! :) We all don't punish if you asked the wrong person...
Terror Posted October 29, 2002 Posted October 29, 2002 Hmmm, my post count is rising faster than most people here, but i don't think i'm posting much crap, well some crap. but most of it is usefull :).Anna Lover was banned too right? as he is no longer in the members list, and he was rising incredibly fast compared to me (i almost felt threatened :) )
babyface Posted October 29, 2002 Posted October 29, 2002 I don't get the point of this thread ???Just post a question in on the Board and everybody will give his her advise. You, yourself, must decide which advise to use.
