Hey can't view posts so I've started a new one conscerning the blastable error in MySql:

2: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource

(/home/fed2k/public_html/forum/Sources/MessageIndex.php ln 260)

Hopefully someone could fix it for moi! :)

It seems the table that stores the log for what topics you've viewed got corrupted and because of that the query to check to see if you read a topic no longer worked and wouldn't load the page.

Should be fixed now but there isn't a log of what messages you read anymore.

If you want to mark all messages as read you will want to click this link:

what the heck does "marking all messages as read" do? I never used that function because I never knew what it did exactly.

could whoever explains this please do it in full and complete, exact detail that states clearly and concisely everything it does? i hate half-baked explanations, as most humans tend to give when asked something.

Marking all messages as read:

First let's explain a "read" message. When someone posts a message in a thread, let's say "UT2003" in the general forum, the new button will show up, showing you that someone has posted since the last time you have read that thread. When you click new, or just the thread name, you will go to the thread, and when you get out of it, say click on the link to General, the thread will not have new by it. Thus it is read. If you were to click "mark all messages as read", it will simply put every thread in the whole forum with no "new" sign, it is as if you read every thread. It helps to organize things, or if you just don't like the blue button :D

There's still an error that needs to be addressed. It seems that all the attachments are corrupted, and whenever I clicked on one to view it, I got disconnected from my ISP everytime, and a message said: "the image (image name) could not be viewed because it contains errors". What's going on with this? ???

Thanks for fixing it Gob. I couldn't even view or post so I sent an IM to ask what was up. Did you get it or was there something up there too?

IxianMace that error is caused by the removal of most (if not all) attachments from this website, due to storage issues. Gob backed up all of them so ask him if you need any back.
