Want to know how to page your buddies without having to go back to your buddy list? Are you baffled by the obscure abbreviations people use? If so, then this post is for you.If you want to check if your buddy is online, but you're not in your buddy list, use this command; "/on" followed by a space and the person's nickname. For example:/on jonAfter pressing enter, you'll recieve a message - either "name : Online" or "name : Offline".If you want to page somebody, use this command: "/page" followed by a space, the name of the person you want to page, followed by another space and then your message. For example:/page jon hiLastly, to reply to the past person who paged you, use the command "/r" followed by a space and your message. The message will be sent to the person who last paged you.To recap, online commands are:/on name/page name message/r messageCommands are not case sensitive. Use lowercase letters for the command portion and nickname of who you want to page. You may use capitals for the message portion. To execute the command or send the message, press enter. They are smiles. Turn your head 90 degrees to the left to see what they are. (not yelling at you, rather I am yelling at buggy WOL)ie: a lot of the time if you use /r (message) or /page (user) (message) it posts that IN THE IN GAME CHAT SCREEN instead of executing the command. i HATE that!

If you get it wrong once, then just look at the message in the chat screen and you'll see the mistake you made. I have never once had a problem when I typed it in right, nor have I heard of problems from anybody else.
Navaros Posted September 3, 2002 Posted September 3, 2002 ACE i am 100 % that you are completely OUT TO LUNCH on this matter. this not only happens to me, i've seen it happen to MILLIONS of other people on WOL in the same games as me and everything was typed perfectly. I am shocked that someone who has been on WOL for so long is completely inept about this bug.

There aren't MILLIONS of emperor players so how could you have personally witnessed this bugy MILLIONS of times? If all you're going to do is post about your typos leading you to invent bugs that are not there, then don't post at all. I wanted this to be a sticky, so don't ruin it!

I mean, I couldn't help feeling sorry for this guy... :O ??? :(IxianMace ... I cannot for the life of me figure out why someone would be sorry for Nav. I cannot feel sorry for somebody, who has a mile-wide yellow streak running down his backside. He has been challanged here to come to WOL for some games but refuses to answer the challange because he knows what would happen. If he ever accepts the challanges, one other person can watch Nav get walked all over in 10 separate 1v1 games, with 2 witness who presses the flag option in games. He is ALL mouth without the guts to back-up what he says here, which makes his the biggest laughing stock in the Emperor community.

Since when did I mention Nav? >:( In fact, I deliberately renamed the file before I posted it here to prevent people from finding out who the other player was. I didn't want to make that person feel inferior by posting a picture that says to everyone (or at least demonstrates) how new that person is. I don't want that person to come here and look at the pic and then get offended or upset, that's why I renamed the file to ensure the NO ONE is being referred to.

Then highlight the box of the player you wish to ally with. Sometimes it takes a few seconds to respond so click it once only and wait. To send a message to your ally partner only, use 'BACKSPACE' instead to bring up the message input box.

From everything I've read on the board (and I mean everything), it's the [red]first[/red] time that anyone reported it. Out of the hundreds of people who have played or are currently play this game online - only [red]1 person[/red] has had this trouble. Makes you think that it is a figment of his imagination.

Unlike most people, I got a written down listing of every QM game I have ever played with information of who, houses used, and stats.

It's like saying "I hate when I press the 'T' key and an 'R' comes up!" It's not the keyboard or the computer that has the problem, it's just me pressing the wrong key. Even if I could have sworn i pressed the right key, it is not possible for an 'R' to come up when I press the 'T' key. A problem I have noticed is if you press enter and start typing too quickly you will often screw up, or WOL cannot register your commands quick enough...it is not messing up though.

Anyone could beat you! LOL Razorox sure you used to smash me, I sucked then. Now, I ain't losing unless I play an elite player. I am not on the level of guys like Cerb and I freely admit that, but I certainly don't suck like I did when you always beat me ages ago.
