What all did the IX do that is wrong? When did they create a thinking machine? They didn't really in the prequels. Also, does house Vernius still rule IX in the Frank Herbert books?

No one is evil. It all depends on your prospective. I mean, Tleilaxu themselves don't think they are evil - they think that the Ixians are evil and vice versa.

But for some strange reason Dune was made that way that the Harkonnens themsleves think they are evil. Strange, huh?

that is exactly what I like about them

How can you call Ix evil - allies of Atreides...need i say more?

To be honest the evil ones are the Harks and Corrinos

Ix are not evil, but they are greedy. They seek to become the wealthiest House by selling their tech.

Why would anyone say that Atreides are not evil? If you look a it from te Harkonnen perspective - they are. Read Hunting Harkonnens. It was the Atreides' fault the blood feud between them has started.

Of course the Atreides aren't perfect, but they were not as corrupted or evil as many others. It wasn't an Atreides that sparked the feud, it was a cowardly Harkonnen in the Battle of Corrin.

Abulurd Harkonnen was the only good Harkonnen out of the living Harkonnens at that time. It has something to do with how his mother raised him. He was weak though, his own son Rabban strangled him.

yes in House Corrino they and the Harkonnens planned to attack Caladan while most of the atreides army were helping the ixians in their fight against tleilaxu.

Evil houses: Harkonnen, Moritani, Tleilaxu, Corrino

Noble Houses: Atreides, Ecaz, Ix, Richese
