gryphon
Getting bored he ? :)Have you ever seen the movie Quatermass ? I also like the book. ( the first one I think, about Ringstone Round ) It's mayby not one of the best books ever written, but still worth reading in my oppinion. nampigai
Of Dune NEVER ;DIt's just besides the Dune Novels and Star Wars I haven't read that much sci-fi. I can recomend the two Star Wars trilogies made by Timothy Zahn, they are great and my favorit charecter Thrawn are in them.Have anyone read Chasm City by Alistair Reynolds? Vanguard3000
I definately agree about I, Robot.I myself recommend the Myst trilogy (Book of Atrus, Book of Ti'Ana, Book of D'ni). Â They're not related too much to the games, but it's an amazing look at the D'ni civilisation, and it's a really good read (namely BoT).If you can find it, try getting Alone Against Tomorrow by Harlan Ellison. Â It's a bunch of short stories of speculative fiction (Outer Limits/Twilight Zone type stuff). Â At least look for I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, and "Repent Harlequin" Said the Tocktockman. Â I found Alone Against Tomorrow on Ebay for $5 CAD.
nampigai
I'm getting I, Robot. about the myst series which one of the books is the newest I can't seem to get Book of Atrus
nampigai
I'm thinking on getting LotR but I'm not sure yet I don't wether to buy LotR or Revelation Space. Under all circumstances I'm gonna buy I, Robot.
Vanguard3000
The Myst series goes in this order (well, the order they're written in, anyway):Book of Atrus (BoA)Book of Ti'Ana (BoT)Book of D'ni (BoD)
nampigai
pis I couldn't get the book of Atrus, but I'm trying a new place now. thanx
Vanguard3000
No problem, Feyd. Â If you can't find BoA, at least try and read BoT. Â I personally think that's the best.
quoudam72
I like Issaic Asimov but I would like to check out this Myst series you guys are talking about tell more.
Vanguard3000
The Myst trilogy is a set of books absed on the PC games Myst and Riven (not so much Exile, I think). Â It's about a society of people - the D'ni (pronounced "Dunny") - who have the means of writing descriptive books called Linking Books, which can transport anyone who touches a small panel in the book to the world it describes. Â That's really all the info I can give you without giving away any spoilers. Â I definately recommend that you check this series out.Well? Â What are you waiting for? Â Go! Â Now! ;)
nampigai
I just ordered the two books from alastair reynolds, and I, Robot. But I'm definately gonna get the myst books too. I played myst alot but then I got tired of it, it seemed as if there wasn't an end to it.

Mahdi
I don't read a lot of sci-fi, but I suggest you read the Merlin Trilogy by Mary StewartThe Crystal CaveThe Hollow HillsThe Last EnchantmentAnd, also, The Wicked Day which takes place along the same timeline, but isn't part of the trilogy. Â It's a fairly mediocre book, but ahs an amazing ending for those familiar with the Arthurian Legends.
ordos45
Ok, good books. Â Personally I like the Starcraft books, the New Jedi Order, and of course most of the Star Trek Deep Space Nine books.

Digital Guerrilla
Yes Zahn has done a good job writing for the Star Wars universe.
nampigai
I think without any doubt that garand Admiral Thrawn is the best charecter in the SW universe, and he's introduced in the first Zahn trilogi.
thomas
Hey ex, since you are a Halo lover(whos not?) read the book Halo. It is the prequel to the game. It pretty much explains the stuff on master chief, cortonas, and the covenet deeper.
