There is bound to be a few bad posters initially but in the long run it was the best thing to do.

And yes it was planned, Cliff and I talked about it back in March.

I think Gob and me can handle it.  I think once the "culture shock" is over the behaviour will be pretty good, since people will know they can't get away with it here.

Just give the guys that is bad, one chance (if they were rude by a mistake) and then let them out. Its the only way to stop spamming, block by IP+Nickname

Yes, Gob and co. do moderate with an iron fist, an iron tail, and an iron everything for that matter. There will be a lot more people joining, most won't last long before being banned. And I presume changes will be made to the forum. But I think and hope it goes well. Good luck Gob.

Well we have posted an official set of rules made up  by a number of the members. So that is what we will be using as our guidelines.
