New official Fed2k IRC channel

Well here it is the brand new Fed2k IRC channel, for those of you who doesn't know what it is, it's a chat channel where people can come and chat live to each others.

The rules are simpel don't spam harass or in any other way act abusive towards other visitors.

To get into the channel you have two options download mirc at

www.mirc.com

when you have installed it you type your name etc (just follow the intructions ;)) then in the status window type:

/server irc.quakenet.org

when you see that it has connected type

/j #fed2k

you should now be in the channel

the other option is use the java on the main site

I had no problems with it.

After installing one "bad" version and besides the fact  that it was real slow with me that is.

And I really hate those commands !

But the good news, it's nice to have a Fed2K chat channel. :)

no I don't think it will Jacob ;) but maybe it can remove some of the spamming, I saw the problem with invite only it's been removed and the channel should be open again I don't know what has happened.

and ken it's not mad at you it's because I was giving you voice the bot needs for you to set a pass so that you will keep the voice.

nampigai, just found a new bug.

its the same bug as on the servers.

typ exactly 110 spaces then name etc.

it wil look like this:

>yo

(name) yo

perhaps you could fix it.

The java on the website won't work, it says the webmaster needs to register...

But cool idea ;D

;) I've been away all weekend, but I'm back again, as for the java it does work it only says you need to registre, but as I've said before mIRC is to prefer

ahh sandwraith the main problem is that some is from Europe and others are from the states this make it hard to be on at the same time, however I'm on most of the weekends atleast I'm idleing so people can just querry me ;)

I am usually at the IRC channel (Namp is also on the channel). I know there have been times I invite people to join the channel and do not respond because but I am there. A few people IM me back asking "what is mIRC?". I know alot of people do not use IRC for various reasons but you are all invited join when you can. Any questions about IRC can be asked here.

darn i already have msn.

And i don't know how sensetive mIRC is for hackers etc, or if it is going to make my currently installed software instable, so i think i pass..

Well, msn is irritating. And mIRC has a fed2k channel :). And if quondam72 invites people to it. It would be good if he was there then ;)

LOL I apologize Timenn (my worm friend) and to any others. I invite people all the time some come and some do not I am there but sometimes my attention is divided.
