Dune books

What is your favorite dune book and why?I really cant decide I just love the whole damn series.

Dune easily Dune. The best book I read ever.

Definately the first one, followed by Messiah, then God Emperor.

Heretics/Chapterhouse Dune (like them both equally), God Emperor, Dune, Dune Messiah, Children of Dune. And I wont even rate the prequals, but I think there have been several threads on this subject ;)

I love best the first part Dune. As Usul, this is best book I read before. Next is Messiash, I think I like most those books where Fremen still Fremen and family of Paul (and Paul) still live.

I think every dune book by frank herbet is amazing, i haven't read everyone so far tho, however most people seem to say great things about them all. However, i do beleive that DUNE is the best book ever, the shock it gave me when i read it. All of a sudden i was plunged into a world that was totally amazing, however realistic and a very believable future. DUNE is the best book in the series, there really isn't an argument about the matter :P

Dune is a good book.......buts its not my faverite book. Starship Troopers Stranger in a strange land, Battlefield Earth...are all my faverites. dune Is up there though.....beside SST.

I tried to decide on a favourite once. Very recently. Had so mcuh trouble I chose them all and am now heaped with nine novels (prequels included) to write lots of religious, political etc etc stuff in class. Goodie! ;D

Now I read God Emperor looks good so far.

They're obvioulsy all great, and choosing a favourite would be impossible.

I'll just enjoy them as a series. ;D

If I was forced to pick a favorite, I would choose DUNE. But they're all good.

Yes, all they are good. But I still can`t buy House Corrino. >:(. I was looking both in Germany and Poland but nothing.

It can't be Gun, cause I bought my House Corrino in Germany - just go to the book store and order it. I got the book next day and i love it! Germany rulezz :)
