Wich gaming console is the best?

Final Fantasy XX is 20. That is not coming for a long time, if ever. If you are meaning 10, that is coming only to the PS2, not the GameCube. Nintendo isn't getting any from the main series, just ones like. Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest. But a newer one.

By the way. I know for a fact that this will turn out like the religion thread, as no side will agree. So there is no point arguing. But here goes points.

X-Box - Great specs, suck games.

Game Cube - Good specs, Retro games, but not many new game ideas.

PS2 - Okay Specs, big list of games, more developers supporting. No retro games, but plenty of new ones.

x-box: great specs, good games

gamecube: good specs not realy great games

PS2: nice specs okay games.

ps2-alot of really awesome games, good selection okay graphics

x-box-good graphics pretty much a "one quarter wonder " console

game cube- pretty good graphics  a "one quarter wonder" for now no real selection of older people games.

good console games: ps2; gta3, gt3, dmc,vf4,ffx...

x-box;halo,pgr...

gamecube;ssbm,smb...

Playstation 2 has a much larger line of support behind it. Nintendo is going the same way Sega did.

I was told recently that this is the install base:

PS2 - 30 million

GC - 4 million

XBox - 2 million

The PS2 dominates, something like 82% of the market, and I think its still selling more then the other consoles.

I am a nintendo fan. I have been ever since it first came out. still am even though playstation kicked n64's asprine.  The game cube just came out so dont give it crap. It will get new, better games. If not then i will sink with the ship of nintendo, being loyal to it till death.lol

So because N64 has a few good games, then GameCube would only have a few games? Do you have any idea how irrogant this is? With GameCube comes inspiration (after all, who would want to waste a good game concept on N64, but on GC it would make sense to use it there), and also they don't have the exact same people. The GC has so many more options than N64 did, and new games will take advantage of it. Why do you think we are getting better games for PC? Because the hardware is advancing and new people are working on making games. I think you need to start putting some sense into your thoughts.

Well actually. The only thing that better hardware gets you is better performance, not better games. If anyone remembers comet busters. One great game, crap Graphics. Just because GC has much better stats then PS2, does not mean it's games will be better. GameCube ius going the same way as N64. Slower, but definite. The only real compitition for PS2 is XB. And even that i9s looking poor.

I think the x-box will be great (in games and selling).

I doubt Microsoft will let it die. New games will come and will be good. Not to mention the specs of the x-box compared to the PS2..
