You don't need cheats. Next time you want to cheat, start up a game (skirmish or mission), quit the game, and say "I've won". Comes to the same thing in the end anyway.

Well cheats are fun as anything AFTER you beat the game

well if i want a cheat i just use a editer to make my units supper strong ect... it works well.

Wouldn't that make the opponent's units just as strong?

Interestingly enough, in Age of Kings there was a cheat that wasn't really a cheat. If you typed in STEROIDS you could build structures instantly, but so could your opponent. I had some pointless battles doing that, I can tell you.

depends which parts u edit, so if u only edit the Harkonnan part then ALL harkonnan will have free structures/units etc, but the puter goes mental and just builds MILLIONS of tanks, and wateva u do, NEVER put the death hand on buildtime = 1, cos as soon as the puter sees u, ur gunna hear "death hand launch detected" every second. still funny tho ;D

yea thats the easy way of doing it. you can make the atreides gods. but dont put in any other atredies or it will make the game suck.

The most fun way of 'cheating' is using editors and mods that give the game a (sensible) twist.

I agree with Nema the best way is to use the mods and editors in the game. The only cheat I will use is the full map cheat (hate scouting the map) besides that I will be as fair as possible.

Not that anyone has found, no. WW don't like putting cheats in.

Westwood never puts in cheats, and all the debug codes are removed before shipping.  The're very adament about that ;)

Emperor is relatively easy (the only *cheat* that i know is to airlift your 3 heavy units in the final mission and destroy the emperor worm), and the AI is a little clumsy.

Although there is a 'Cheatbomb' Weapon in the rules file- odd, since WW never put cheats in. Maybe they were using it in development.

I don't see how you can cheat on anything. The game is pretty straightforward, and anything you want to change or make easier you can do that for skirmish. I, personally, hate cheating on comp games.
