another mino can be produced easy. plus...

the atreides have repair vehicles...

i know we are talking about 1 on 1 but the rep vehic cant fight...

another off topic thing... a group of 6 sonic tanks can destroy an equal force of devs. in fact the sonic can beat a dev 1 on 1... but i dont want  to start a new debate

i think the mino. is a better overall unit, u got to hate inkivines out of range with dev. :D  But the dev. is a very good "Drop in the back of base unit."

Mino: you can build it even u havent starport, is faster.

But has less health and shot slower.

Deva: has more health, can kill in one shot, has self-destruction option

But you must have starport, its slow and need AC.

Minotaurus is much more universal than Devastator.

Devas can be use with AC and as defence. Minos can do rush, that devas can`t do.

Deva can`t be destroyed by one shot. But it can be destroyed by faster units.

but see, air dropping 2 devs in a stratigic area of an enemy base is better than those mini rushes.

This is a straight fight between a Devastator and a Minotaurus i'm talking about. If the Mino was in range of the Dev it would die... Devs will win against 3 or 4 minos if the Dev can reach them. However, Minos can win if it's a hit-and-run they're going for. I still think, though, that the Dev would win in a fair fight.

Deva is best against vehicles, mino better against infantry. But deva is better in this that mino can be destroyed in one shot by e. g. missile and deva can`t be destroyed in one even by most powerful unit.

Devastator is very slow, so Deviators can fire very accurately. After ONE shot is Devastator yours and you can destroy it then easily. One klick on "D" key.

True, deviator works with every vehicle, but I was talking that Devastator can`t be DESTROYED in one shot. Deviator not destroying units. It has more health than mino.

Practically, it's same being quickly captured and selfdectructed and being destroyed by one shot.

ok... since it's legal now to include other units..... i agree with the thing that the deva is very vulnerable vs. deviator though so is the mino... except that it can't self destruct.. it still can kill masses of nearby infantry.... i have that problem myself sometimes.... and believe me...one mino can wreak havoc in an infantry army wich doesn't expect such an anti infantry unit...

Deva can do havoc in vehicles units. But both deviated can do many damages to enemy. Like deviated deva shooting to building :D. And its bad (and good) with mino that if infantry is in group it can kill more than one, when it fire.

It is okay against mongooses and some other weak harkonnen/atreidies/ordos light/medium verhicle. But against Heavy armor?
