Minotaurus versus Devastator: who'd win?

I Highly doubt the Sardauker will survive. If you drop the deva in the base, He will maybe die. But he will take alot of buildings and units with him. While the Sardauker's only destroy a few units.

Sure, Sardaukars have no chance in dumb frontal attack in closed formation. With good maneuvering scattered Sardaukars (better Elite Sardaukars) in octagram formation will destroy Minotaur with not more than one loss. Larger force, about 4 Minotaurs should make some ness, but one - but also, who use one lone Minotaurus? It's good for this mech, that it has warheads with high effect against infantry armor, but what's better: rate of fire of Minotaur's quad or Sardaukars cannon (resp. Elite's lasergun)?

Also, Devastator has totaly NO chance against Sardaukars.

But you must get near the mino's before you attack, when they walk it's good to do but a pack of mino's standing is not good to approach for infantery, you can only pass them with , by example, laser tanks, and that way circle around them but when you go straight ahead to the mino's there is no chance...

Sardaukars have a great range of fire. Also, rolling tactics, very known from mech-simulation games (damn those Stingrays in EarthSiege!) are very good. Sardaukars never prone, so they're always fast (only a short time when firing).

The deva doesn't slow down also, it's a Harkonnen

Blokkade is the only way, because it's a Harkonnen unit it won't slow down if it is under fire. It is the advantage of House Harkonnen...

Kobra and Mino aren't allround also, they are not good vs armor and buildings, and they aren't AA, and they are slow (ok the Kobra is fast but not for Ordos standards...)

That't true, but the Harkonnen have another longrange tank, the launcher. Ok not so longranged as the 3 longest range tanks and the mortar and kindjal, but it does a lot of damage and they hit always

I like Harkonnen long rage units, they kill preety fast. But if only deva had longer range...but it would be unfair, such powerful unit with long range...it would be better than mino...

Yes, deva is better but it sometimes suck that when devastator is too far from mino to shot to him and mino can already shot...but if deva is close, mino hasn`t any chance.
