Infiltrators

Isn't everyone forgetting about the other Ixian unit? Infiltrators are so easily underestimated, you only need 5 or 6 of them carefully placed around an enemy con. yard and BOOM! gone, no more con yard. Why hasn't anyone figured that out yet?

Yup i guess you must be quite late in realizing this :). IMHO everyone who ever laid their hands on Emperor would have at least tried the sub-houses units first of all.

Actually I played the first Atreides mission and then went to Skirmish mode to try out the subhouse units

Infiltrators are okay, but projectors are main the reason why people play with the IX.

Infiltrators can be easily spotted though, if you Populate your entrances with some infantry or heavy verhicles. And another thing. Infiltrators arent that powerfull against a building except against turrets.  ::)

not powerfull? 2 infiltrators can destroy a refinery, 4 a conyard and 3 for each other building.........

If they can get that close, Also the Range also controlls the damage, for some "strange" reason i destroyed the whole const yard in one blast ??? A bug  8)  :O

Every subhouse has TWO good units, (Guild makers can be put with your harvesters for scaring of worms), only the contaminator is the exception...

Infiltraters are good when you place them by a enemy base enterece. When the enemy launches a big atack detenate them.

I agree.... Against ordos they are the best... :P those weak units of them. But they can easily get out of the way though if you fight against a human player

They reqire lots of micromanagement, but when used right, are a great unit.
