ordos45
OK on the mission where the suboids have revolted and you are playing as the Ordos...how do you beat it. I line the entrances with turrets, build Fedaykin and attack his harvestors but once I'm done with the Tleilaxu the Atreides are to strong to destroy. Any tips? Please? exatreide
dont atack the telexiuy with just a few units build a seinzible force then go over there. use lots of freman saduakr!
peseverance
Have Chem troopers, Fremen and Sardauker...... Try to find a rock for your fremen... deploy the sardaukar in front of the rock then have your Chem Troopers behind the Fremen ready to charge forward..... try to send a vehicle or two.. preferably a Kobra.... next kill the suboids.... if the Tleilexu show up have your guys kill the Contaminators first....I found out that if your force is big enough the tleilexu doesn't attack :)
ordos45
Thanks everyone but I just beat it. I went around with a scout to the Sardaukar crates and used the Sardaukar to destroy the Atreides base.
Guest Ordos_Yogurt
Sardines vs. Birdy people ... GOOD IDEA!!!
subarupunk
indeed, I used a bunch of dust scouts, sardakaur and fremen but no matter how big my force is, tleilaxians always attack. Those bastards.
Mordecai
Use your force to take over the first outpost. Build a base, then make a force of Kobras. Scout south, then go down with the Kobras and take the second outpost. Hold your two outposts - build turrets. Now scout south, then destroy the living turrets with Kobras followed by the flesh vats. Back up your forces with Laser Tanks to destroy the Leeches, and you've won!
subarupunk
well yeah I know that now, but no matter how large your force is, they will attack, they don't retreat.

nemafakei
I'm so disappointed they got weaker - they used to be a suerweapon, and now, what do they have? The've been religated to a mere 150-credit, run-of the mill ordos freak.
subarupunk
They were only favorite of yesterday, they just suck now but man you gotta have diversity.today it's the infiltrators again.

Edric O
We ALL want the old Saboteur back! Not as a superweapon, just as a more expensive unit. But now it's called "Infiltrator" and any House can get it. :'( :'( :'(
nemafakei
Yes. The Ixians should have something different.

I line the entrances with turrets, build Fedaykin and attack his harvestors but once I'm done with the Tleilaxu the Atreides are to strong to destroy.  Any tips? Please?Don't u think that sometimes you don't need to bother bout the theilaxu but rush the atreides first with basic units?maybe an engineer or 2 to take over the structures?A lot of missions..i realize...can be finished easily once u know the location of the enemy base. Don't bother bout the secondary objectives first.....just rush the opposing house...820205
robinsoncrusoe
Tath stage is easy, send your starting forces to protect your base in the beginning, build a wind trap, then a barracks and then two engineers, send the first one straight to the second oupost after building enough windtraps then the second engineer to the first outpost after building enough windtraps. build up enoug AAtroopers, destroy all the leeches, then build a shitload of laser tanks and protect your hall and eliminate the tlielaxu then on to the next stage. ;) Â :P 8) :D :)

nemafakei
That's what comes of failiure to read all the posts. Not that they'll listen to this one. So let them carry on in their ignorance. It does not harm us.
ThopterFanatic
It's really weird that the Ordos have NO good anti-infantry units(kobras too expensive, chem troops too short range)Without the Sardukar and fremen, they'd be dead in the water. nemafakei
What about mortars and Dust scouts?
ThopterFanatic
Mortars are only good if the unit is stuck to the ground. Dust Scouts I missed, so yeah, they're good against infantry, but what if the infantry are accompanied by tanks or minos? DScouts get blasted if ya blow on em to hard, and even if ya don't, they get to slow.
ordos45
Well, the ordos big disadvantage is that it has no heavy anti-infantry viechles, besides Kobras. Â Its just he disadvantage of an Ordos player, that and lack of AA defenses. Â Just like a hark lacks...just about everything.
daniel
they also haf a very short ranfge to..there chem troopers...if u line them up agains a line of atreieds light infantry.....they get mowed down bpretty bad....
