You may or may not already know about the Myers-Briggs theory of human personality, which divides human psychology into 16 personality types. There are several different tests on the internet that will tell you your Myers-Briggs personality type - and in my experience, the results tend to be rather accurate and may reveal important insights about who you are.

Here's my personal favourite test:

And now for the important part. The reason I started this topic (and poll) was because I just discovered a new interpretation of the Myers-Briggs personality types, which will tell you what kind of deranged madman or anti-social psycho you are, based on your personality. Where do you fit in the oppressive hierarchy of the Evil Empire? Are you the power-hungry dictator running it all, one of his loyal minions, or perhaps the brave hero trying to fund his campaign of vigilante justice by stealing money from gullible old ladies? Take the test above and then read the commentary for your personality type here:

Oh, and if you're curious, I'm an INTJ. 8)

Its an interesting test, though I most likely wont count on it as sure fire :) . It didnt address the problems related with the personality types.

If I could change my vote, I would. I took a test that had the same grading system(though I don't know if the questions are the same) slightly more than 2 years ago, and I got INTP.

But I've gone to this site 2 years later and tried it again, and I've gotten INTJ on 3 tries. Oh gosh.

Another INTJ here.

I'm beginning to wonder whether the criteria for measuring the results of that particular test might not be skewed (accidentally most likely) in favour of giving INTJ as a result. Then again, perhaps this community naturally attracts INTJs.

At the moment I favour the former hypothesis.

(Hypothesis is a very INTJ word to use, no?)

I've seen similar topics on two other forums (in fact, that's where I got the idea to post this) and neither of them had an unusual number of INTJs.

So, really, it's just us. :)

I have no idea how I could just change like that. From a P to a J. So clearcut. My Judging score was far from a borderline result. I'm not sure about how much Perceptive I got 2 years ago though.

Well, good to see we're more or less like-minded? :P
