NTL are upgrading their service so 2mb connection will be 4mb and 3 mb will be 10mb, should be good except they keep taking down servers without a word or downloading stuff which screws up my present connection. Thank you very myuch you inconsiderate gits.  :( >:(

Telewest (who are miles better then NTL :P even though NTL had to buy out Telewest) may have had a problem where my connection went down after about 3 mins. So a reboot on the modem would get me back on, but it would be gone after 3 mins. Great (!). My home line runs off BBand, Vonage, which is a home VoIP solution. So I lost my home phone line.

I said may, cos I am not shure where the error was, but its sorted it self out now.

Downtime stinks.  :-X

Huh, seems all them bastards out there are "upgrading" at present. i was happy with  the 4 meg  but when i checked last night it was only 2600K some upgrade since it is very possible it could go down any minute. also it took 4 days before i could get email a few weeks ago.  yep progress.

I HATE that damned machine in a shopping complex near my place that incessantly plays some mindless techno beats. And they put it in a place that you cannot avoid. I'm forced to listen to that crap EVERYTIME I visit that place. >:(

And I hate Crazy Frog too. Heck, I don't like the public radio at all. Damnit.

been off for a few day with a crappy system crash followed by a sneaky virus which allowed intermitent working of the system.

Hopefully all sorted now and life should be better.

Not quite a screw up, but it is annoying...Trying to get my bluetooth headset to behave like a microphone/speaker for my computer, using my bluetooth dongle that came with my MS Desktop Elite for Bluetooth. Damn thing dont work. Spent hours trying all sorts of hacks, now given up and decided to shell out

WELL, I dont know what happend but NOW i seem to be unable to play EMP for it constantly ask me to put the CD in when the freaking thing is in there, cant play online / skirmish nothing. the cd fires up the game but it wont start a game.

I tried playing the other night , but it didnt happen , dissapointing .

This happen to me once, have you got the disk in the right cd drive?

If a yes then try reinstalling sometimes if you have loaded a a few other games empy gets all twitchy on you.
