Saw Dawn of the dead (new version).

Good movie!

Although the ending is somewhat open ended.

I mean, do they defeat the zombies? :)

I saw Ginger Snaps Back last weekend. Alright movie.

I like movies more when I have no idea what they are about. (not seeing previews, reviews etc.)

You msut nto have stayed for the credits of Dawn of the Dead.  It answers your question.

I did see the credits. I am guessing it is true (unless the very very end of the credits shows something different).

[hide]Durign the credits they come to an island where zombies kill them.[/hide]

Hmm, just a thought.

DotD

[hide]They could have jumped in the water. When they were originally getting in the boat, I didn't notice any zombies swimming in the water. Not saying they would survive long in the water without food/water, but better than getting eaten by a zombie, and they could have pushed the boat back out into the water. And how the hell did that head in the cooler start screaming and shit? Shouldn't it have been dead?[/hide]

*cracks nuckkles*

As the resident zombie expert let me clear a few things up.

[hide]

The head in the cooler did not start screaming it just opened its mouth up and closed it.

It doesnt neccisarly show any of the survivers being killed, it just shows the camera falling to the ground and a dead zombie falling infront of it..

gunshots continued for a short time afterword, so they could have made it back on the boat.

[/hide]

anything else?

DotD spoiler

[hide]How did the head get in the cooler?

Why did that guy near the end leave the door? If he didn't leave the door they would have safely gotten back into the mall safely with no zombies getting in.

[/hide]

Why must you be bitten in order to become a zombie? What If I got a blood transfusion with a zombie, or got a cut on my own and touched zombie blood with it? Would I become a zombie?

Do you think the zombies was an act of God?

1. I dont know how the head got in a cooler...maybe the fish though it would be a touch of dramatic irony or something.

2. He left the door becouse he was a jerk, he never did want to fortify the bus's(he never helped) and thought the plan was retarded he was content with staying in the mall and would have not minded watching all the other people die so he

The Incredibles is a good movie. Went to see it a day or three ago, going again in about an hour. Not wonderfully funny compared to say Finding Nemo or Shrek 2, which is still the monarch of computer animation, but the plot and what gags there are make up for that.

Not riddled with references to other movies, nor a boring story with an expected moral. I mean most films with morals go along the clich

Saw is an incredible movie, as far as plot goes. It's relieving to find a movie that doesn't focus as much on special effects as it does the actual storyline. Well, for anyone who doesn't know the storyline, it's basically that there is a sick guy, called the Jigsaw Killer, who kidnaps people and puts them in strange rooms. Although, as the story goes he never really kills his victims, but puts them in a situation where they either kill themselves or someone in the room with them. One such situation is where the Jigsaw Killer kidnapped one guy and put him in a dark room with a safe and a candle on it. There was a taperecorder nearby, and after the guy woke up he played the recorder and the voice said that injected in him is this deadly poison that will kill him if he doesn't get the antidote in the safe. The safe will open with a certain combination, which is written on the wall somewhere amongst hundreds of other numbers all over. However, his body is covered with a highly-flammable substance, and it's dark in the room so he must carefully carry the candle around the room and try each number, or he goes up in flames. Suffice to say, after a few attempts, he slipped and was burned to death. To sum this movie up with two words, they would be: sick shit. But the plot is well-written and the ending is so incredible that literally everyone in the theatre for both of the times that I saw this movie gasped out loud at it. It's really a great movie, but is graphic so those with weak stomachs beware! Enjoy...

Saw Blade 3 Trinity.

It was good, but had more humour in it than the first Blade movie. That made it more pop like. I hate pop.

Jessica Biel does a naked shower scene. Out of the blue too. Nothing is shown though. :P

There doesn't seem to be much story/point either.

6/10.

Just got back from The Phantom of the Opera.

It's a movie of a musical, so one should expect there to be a lot of songs and forgive them that. If you don't like it, I'm looking at you Mr Reviewer from The Independent, then what on earth are you doing watching a musical?

The scenery was beautiful, the music (of course) rendered wonderfully. The singing was perhaps a tad overlong in some places, but again that's all part and parcel of a musical. The atmosphere was just spectacular. Gilt and costumes and dancing and velvet and candles.... ooh, it makes me go all tingly.

I believe that people will either love this movie or hate it. That's what art is like; and this is art, rather than entertainment.

i just saw 'life aquatic'

Now, im normally one for oddball/random humour... but this was just wierd.  Bill murray plays somewhat of a f'd up jaques cousteau chasing after a shark who killed his friend.  However most of the story strays, with many side 'adventures' so to speak.  All the animation was done in stop animation, which i found to be rather interesting... *cough* low budget *cough*...

I was rather expecting this film to be entertaining, i mean it has Bill Murray in it! but it was very dissapointing.  but i wouldnt be surprised if critics began calling it 'genius'.

well, I suppose... it wasn't the highest quality of stop animation either but... i guess you never know.  But it did add a little better feel with this movie than quality computer graphics would have.  Now that you mention it, they probably would not have gone along with this type of movie at all.
