Anyone an artist?

Well I figured a lot of other websites do it... Even this one may have. I have this nagging doubt in the back of my mind that this has been done here before...

Anyway, I figured that with so many people visiting this place, some of them are bound to be artistically inclined, but there's really no thread (that I can see, damn my useless memory and the variables of search engines!) that brings 'em all together. So perhaps we could use a single thread, this one for example, for arty stuff. People could post up Dune-related work. I was thinking specifically Dune, Dune2k, Fed2k or Emperor based since, heh, this is after all a website for those things. Perhaps people could even have competitions, or ask each other for commissions.

I know that other people have posted artwork of theirs up here before, though the only one that immediately springs to mind is Firesnake or whatever his name was, but never had a thread for it already. For myself, I know I posted up a few of my scribbles from history class (literally scribbles, the 'good' stuff has never seen the scanner), nothing else.

This thread will most likely now fade into obscurity; but before it does I would like to start the ball rolling by asking everyone who wishes to draw something. Or otherwise form an image, of a particular facet of the Dune prequels. Cymeks, people, can anyone draw cymeks? If I get round to it, I'll try it myself.

Yes those board scribbles are classics!

I've been drawing a lot and getting into animation in Macromedia Flash... Of course you don't have to be able to draw well to animate stuff in Flash. (Example author of cartoonsmart.com said he lost his pencil drawing skills. Take a good look around. Not bad eh?)

But this would be good practice. So who is cymeks and can I find a referance photo somewhere to go by? What kind of pose are you looking for?

Right now on Nukezone, I'm playing a clanwar..the opposing clan has someone names Firesnake.
