Theres been alot of controversy over the use of atomics by a renegade house on SS. Although that is ONE possible explanation for the "removal" of the Imperial Court to Kaitain I feel that the lack of conclusive evidence in the original novel doesn't warrant the nuclear holocaust theory, and so I decided to part Brian Herbert's work on this issue :)

Thanks for everyone's replies, but I disagree with you Mahdi, but I know exactly where youre getting that idea :)

It mentions in the final battle of Arrakeen about House Sardaukar charging into the haze etc. but I believe this simply means they are the House Guards, (capital H because they are the imperial bodyguards).

No where else does it mention the Sardaukar being their own House Minor so I don't feel there is enough evidence to support that.

as i said i want 2 know about the AI revolution.......and if there was no book.....then they should make one based on dat only........be pretty good.......

and yah tilaxeu took pver IX after the new prince came to power saved um..wut his name ATRIDES guy....from the landsdraad blah blahblah...cause the new emp was prt of the IX takeover and wanted to grom an synthetic spice with IX and tilaxue tech........hm........funny...........2 groups with complete difernt ideas...and arch rivals.......and the anti techs use tech to benifit themselves.....anyone find dat weird????????

Good article Shaddam I liked that. Only thing I disliked (and it has nothing to do with you:)) is the uniforms that Harrison chose for the Sardaukar. Besides that your work on the Sardaukar is good.
