You would have to time the two groups extremly well, or the enemy would re-cloak before your second batch of units got there. Alternatively, if you got there too soon after they killed the first sacrifice, they would also be shot on by the warriors furtherest from YOUR first warrior :S. Confusiocus, eh ?

Ill give a late replay.

Like Erjin said it would be xtreme timing, wich is practically impossible to accomplish. AND the "circle of warriors" are mostly Dupes themselves and when u make Dupes to defend duplicators you have like 5-6 duplicators minimum , u will pump out about 30 units very fast. So the "circle of warriors" isnt a few hidden Fremens but a rather large number of Duped fremen warriors or any other unit /sard etc.

And finally, when things are about to go down it will take again very little time to duplicate defence from 5-6 duplicators and u can choose variety of units to duplicate for any situation.

Like u can see the thing with duplicators is Power in Numbers.

10 Duplicators pumping in a corner of the map , you will have about 100 units in 10 seconds, click 1 press T and cntrl + shift click them to enemie , Repeat. In a mere minute or two whole map should be crawling with little dots of youre color, not easy to defend this.

out of sheer curiosiy=> why dont people use ix nowadays!?!? and get 5/6 dulicators and mass a shitload of fremen/some good range fast unit and run them at the enemy base?

ud still gain a hell lot from the fac tt u have endless supply so even if for example 1 out of 6 laser tanks got shots into the enemy theyd eventually help outgun them. plus if u send in ur own units it helps, esp if u send in ur units first in a different direction to draw fire away. does tt work???

Ix requires a lot of micromanagement to play well because of the nature of Infiltrators, as well as the fragility of duplicate units.

I remember playing against a guy who used the duplicator tactic (back in the days when even I was plaing...). He was on 56k, and the game got slower and slower as he was filling the map with clones. I warned him about the problem, and eventually he lagged out because of his own units, and I got the ladder win.  :D

uselesss defend vs ix using scout cuz oponent could use a sniper fremem to put them out or use 1 ix bomb to clean area to go on inside of the base.
