So, we did one back when we had a dozen Democratic candidates, who will win now?  (And if you must, explain.  Moveon.org's 'illegal' fund-raisings, Bush's 'illegal' bundling, etc.)

I would have picked Nader but honestly he wont win, he is the best pick he would be the best president since the first rosevelt.

However I just wish he would get into politics. IE get a possition, congress anything. If he did this, I am sure he would win.

Bush...

I dont see how any one would vote for him. The number of jobs he has exported. The horrendible atempts to stimulate jobs in America, Invading a nation for on a false pretext, with no exit strategy. Spending billions on the military while the poor starve to death. And middle class fades into the dark resesses of that trench of poverty which is so hard to climb out. How he made the world hate the U.S more then they did.

I'll be voting for Kerry, for no real reason other than Nader can't win, and Bush-while he has done well enough for the situations in his Presidency...I can't vote for in good conscience.

I'm a firm believer that no matter who is President, gas prices will continue to raise, inflation will increase, and after January 20th we will see a bill introduced to reinstate the Draft.  I believe Kerry will raise taxes, but not the $900 billion in the Republican commercials (no one has found evidence of where that figure has come from as far as I heard).  I do also believe Kerry would not be foolish enough to invade a nation and change his pretenses for doing so.

"And... please for the love of all things holy, let Kerry win! "

Amen to that!  Sadly I won't be able to vote.  It's not that I think very highly of Kerry, it's just that I think bush is leading us toward rack and ruin...

I'd like to vote for Nader, of all the available candidates. But Kerry is most likely to win.

Unless the Bush Administration pulls something. And that's not too unlikely.

Bush has got it in the bag. Kerry is the better choice and people like him....

But.....Bush has got unlimited funds at his disposal for his campaign and he will also do alot in the near future to get the votes to go his way. Most likely by promising the people osama bin laden. I doubt he can deliver but rumors are flying that he is within grasp. We will see what happens. I hope Kerry wins but it seems unlikey to me....

To tell you the truth, both sides tried cheating. Why do you think the Supreme Court had to intervene to stop the recount? Because both sides were doing utterly suspicious things in the "recount" of the votes. When the recount was halted, they just took the old data that was available, which had Bush ahead. This isn't the first time the popular vote has been lost when the electoral vote was won, and I don't think it'll be the last one, either.

Indeed, its part of why I despise the Electoral College.  You can win the 11 states with the highest votes, lose the other 39 states and the popular vote, and still become President.

Nader should win. The democrat and republican party are so bent on attracting as many voters as possible that differences have become minor.

Realisticly though, at this point I think Kerry is going to win, unless they still manage to catch Bin Laden in wich case Bush would probably win by a slim minority.

The median-voter rule. In any large democracy, the voters who occupy the ideological middle-ground will decide elections. Therefore, as parties attempt to appeal to moderates, their differences will be mitigated.

Walt Brown should win.  He's (indeed, the whole party has) got it all right: Liberal, leftist democracy. Equal rights.  Pro-choice.  Anti-war.  But since most people don't even know who he is, and he's a Socialist, he won't.  Same reasons Nadar won't.

Amen, Duke! Brown seems like a good candidate... except that I strongly disagree with his positions on abortion, fetal rights, student visas, communications policies, and space exploration. I love his positions on drugs, crime (especially protests at the School of the Americas), education (especially tuition at the post-secondary level), gun control, health care, and immigration. I guess that's a fair balance.

Where does Walt Brown stand on abortion, fetal rights, student visas, communications policies, and space exploration? Out of curiosity?

good grief, it is like choosing between satan and another demon.lol I used to complain about people who didnt vote, saying it is a right that all should uphold. Now that I am of voting age though, I just cant vote for any of them, as it would be compremising. Why vote for the lesser of two evils? I know this is idealistic, but I just cant vote for anybody I wouldnt want ruling in one of the three parts of office. It just wouldnt be right to me in my opinion.

I wish there was a "no vote" category, but I see why there wouldnt be.

I dont like Kerry because he seems rather shallow, and wouldnt really change anything from what I see. Bush, I dont like because of his overzealousness in the "war on terror", and he has been partially responsible for the loss of jobs, though it is not all his fault, actually iti s only very little of his doing, still though he hasent and still wouldnt help the "little guy".
