I tried this last night, and it did do some unusual stuff like distorting my perception of time. I'm not that impressed though, I'll try it again tonight to see.

When I did it, I used Thetanoise like it said.  I have noticed a smal distortion with thime, though I haven't been able to properly test it.  But what I have noticed is that underneath the static that I hear, I can hear a pulse and it gets louder as I drift into a more relaxed state.

Alot of people have called it a "Placebo."  However, it is also meant to give you crazy dreams and it has seemed to make me sleep better recently.

The same effect happens slightly if you just listen to a song on repeat. The first time it feels as long as it is, but the second and third times, it just drags on and on.

I tried it again last night, I never noticed myself drifting off to sleep.  But the wierdest thing happened.  When it stopped (I had it on repeat and there is a 2 second delay in it repeating) I woke up.  That doesnt usually happen for me when I put music CD's on, but it did with this.  That I found strange

I've tried this stuff before.  I'm not so sure it actually does anything to your brain.  I have a hunch it is just the power of suggestion....meaning if you "know" youre listening to a waveform that is supposed to make you concentrate...you'll simply force yourself to concentrate harder.  I'm only saying this because it didn't work for me though.  I could very well be wrong.  It's definitely a cool idea.

Well, I'm not sure if your brain thinking can be distorted by sound, but I think there's a lot of ways to make your brain do funny things.

I have found that the only time it affects me is in sleep.  I woke up more relaxed and refreshed than I had in a long time
