I borrowed it from a friend once, but can't play it really.  Even with 640X480, it's all in slow motion and stuff.

I downloaded the demo and play it online....thats all the action im gonna get until I get the money for the real thing.....

I believe Halo is the unofficial sequel to the Marathon series.  I recently played Marathon 2: Durandal, but I didn't have much fun with it.  The levels were a little too non-linear; I never knew what I was supposed to do.  It really was revolutionary for it's time though, especially since it was primarily a Mac game.

And am I the only one who found the title of this thread very misleading?

Its a real shame there isnt co-op mode tho, that would be cool 8) :)

Why don't you INSTALL IT AND FIND OUT.  You can't play online without the latest patch anyways, so why bother asking what it does before installing?  It's not like you have a choice.

anyone else read the Three Halo books? The fall of Reach and First strike are the best IMO. They are actully prety good books for being based on a game and all...

Gonna get the PC version pretty soon.  The PC version is much better, as it is easier to aim and whatnot.  The only thing I really hate about the game is no variment of difficulties...it's just more guys you gotta slaugher.  Pretty good ending though.  Can't wait to see the commander kick some Covenant ass :)
