Ok here it comes, people do think Christmas time is fun exitement but here is an other angle to it:

Whats your worst "nightmare",worst thing you have to do,or have done in the past in Christmas time.?

Mine is when we had to do all the silver and bronze stuff ready for christmas,oh I hated that. >:(

Mammy please not this year please? ::)

Sorry Cybo but its your job you know! ;)

Wish you all a merry christmas and a happy new dune year

Setting up the Christmas tree was a big stress thing to do. But since we got a new stand for the tree the stress level has gone down. Also trying to find Christmas decorations in attic is a pain.

Worst thing I've done on Christmas:

Spend Christmas season alone with my brother, open presents alone with brother on Christmas day. My father went to 3 different hospitals, eventually went out of province in an ambulance and had emergency back surgery (mother is with him). :(

That was my worst Christmas.

Can't wait to go home by Sunday and eat real food, and even egg nog!

Merry Dune Christmas! Don't forget to keep a watch on the Dune Auction.

Mine was 2 years ago when I was all alone for Christmas and New Year with my two dogs.

That must have been the quietest Christmas I have ever spent.

It was also the worst year I can remember,

3 months before Christmas I got divorced, My auntie and my Mothers boyfriend died on the same night , one day before my birthday, my little dog broke his leg 4 days before Christmas, I got blood poisoning and nearly died,my best friend was killed in a car smash on Christmas eve.

Apart from that the year wasn't too bad. :(

Heh a few new years ago I was at my next-door's house and got pissed out of my brains... it was fun

Bit embarrasing when I got to the point where i started to drink random peoples drinks and ran arond a bit and collapsed it the garden. Good stuff heh.

In my defense I was only like 12 :(

Sad to hear atom but you are still among us tho, peace over the memory of your lost.

LOL Andrew,I`ve forgotten bout the tree stand, our tree always fell down, due to a totally construction error.

And Mr.Dozy, don`t you do that anymore? ::)

Happens to me once in a while 8)

Yes the tree stand was at least 20 years old, and we had to use bailer twine(rope) to tie it to the wall so it wouldn't fall over. It sometimes fell on its own which pissed us off. I don't know why we didn't get one earlier. :P

Hurray to depressing threads! 8)

Alcohol poisoning is not a good thing. It can screw you up badly. (lead to depression, physical ailments etc.)

Ah, Christmas time O'Christmas time, time to waste all your cash buying presents for people you loathe; but more importantly, time for Fed2k Awards III. ;D

But I think my worst memory was after much deliberation I finally convinced my parents to let me people up the tree...Which they allowed me to do while they were gone. Issue was I under-estimated its weight and over-estimated its strength at the time and it came tumbling down on top of me...Yeah, needles up your ass are so pleasant...

Well we used concrete blocks to hold the tree, and guess what.....

whoala:my new bought tree stand is wonderful the tree is perfect.

People vote on a set of criteria for a person that best suits that criteria in their opinion.

i.e. most helpful member.

Too bad I won't be here for the holidays to post in it.

He's well trained.lol. He would only go near it if it was edible.

He has never attacked or chewed anything he shouldn't, I've never had a dog like him.

He was house trained in one and a half days !

He only peed in the kitchen twice ! no newspapers or any of that, he seemed to know ? ;)

Last Christmas I went out with my friend and his girlfriend. 3 of us didn't speak much and the night was spoilt and I felt like a fool. Should have withstand the loniness and not to take his offer for calling me out...let's hope it won't happen this Christmas again.
