Starcraft? Garrisoning a bunker doesn't really qualify. If garrisoning one building counts, then age of empires should be the originator of garrisoning. And Emp does have a form of garrisoning, its called infantry rock/cover.

ehm... age of empires did not bring the garrissoning stuff.... tell me which building you can garrison..... AoE2 does have garrissoning but is older than starcraft so....

i thought that the villagers could garrison the town center. If not, oh well. Hey i just thought of a unit that could be a pain in the heiny for the Emp world, the Mirage tank. Well a tree on arrakis is kinda of obvious, but what if it looked like a sand bowl or a patch of infantry rock. That would suck...

Maybe I didn't exploit them well, but where do you need mirage tanks for, a good one must know the map and when something changes, like a whole new forest...

>:( garrisoning really adds to games like RA2 and Yuris Revenge. If you could garrison structures with light infantry in Emperor it would really add something to the game...

Unless if you use the APC ENTER code. Units enter the apc but every unit that goes inside it makes the Apc able to fire a projectile. See it as that?

I saw some mod makers creating bunkers for C&C. So units can garrison it.

Civilian Buildings is supose to be weak. Unlike RA2, Imagine a Laser Blast upon a building? The Building would likely collapse and Besides,

Most Ordos Units has long range and good speed, Although their chemical trooper's would rock on Infantry when garrisoning.
