lowzeewee
Against vechicles, not really effective...and since it only comes later in the game[you need to upgrade and stuff like that],pple would have used more vechicles instead of infantry already, and the flame tanks would have been destroyed by them... Timenn
Flame Tanks seem to be very good against early rushes. A Flame Tank is no match for the bigger armored units like the Minotaurus/Mongoose/Laser Tank/Kobra/Assault Tank which are usually not in such high numbers when the early rush comes. The Flame Tank is both good against infantery, and against Dust Scouts/Buzzsaws/Trikes However, because of the slowness of this tank, it is often not quick enough to catch the rush units, and there are alternatives. That might be a reason why you don't see them so often. And upgrading is no problem if you start with enough money, upgrading goes fast... Warskum
Th fact that u need to upgrade ur fac would kill ur economy and against a decent player u ll die, but if ur economy is good its pretty good against buzz/bikes/dust and inf. Terror
they are reasonably strong and have great anti infantry powers. However, they have a melee range, meaning that any unit can attack it without receiving return fire. Not until it comes up close. And it is not the cheapest of units and assault tanks, mongeese and laser tanks make short work of them.If the enemy relies heavily on sardaukar or fremen though, i'd say the flametank would be excellent. With fremn just kill him from the side and if u have a decenty amount of sards they will be able of killing the flame tank before it comes close enough and u can always hit and run. Terror
ah yes, but sards and fremen cannot kill a group of flame tanks fast enough... and if even one of them starts to fire...
Warskum
If he has a group of flame tanks then u have should be having a decent army or bikes/saws/dusties-mongoose/assault/lasers and with this units u can easily stop flame tanks.Flame tanks are exelent against worms. Terror
yes, but the flametanks will probably be supported by the same assault tanks. The only thing i'm trying to say is that flametanks, unless alone are realy good against masses of infantry.
Apollyon
They're ok. They really can't do much against sards or fremen. Sards can run away if outpowered and the flames won't even see the fremen.
Terenas77
They are good at stopping regual infantry. Then usually gets annhilated in secs by anything with greater range, basically every unit.
ken124578
Yes... if they weren't invisible. Fedaykins can blow a heavy punch if you know how to use them.
