He was, in his time, one of the very best singers - ever.

To the guys who have only heard his recent albums like the "Hurt" song - don't judge him by that. His singing voice was all shot to Hell for the last few years. For people in that boat, you need to check out some of his earlier albums.

did they censor your version of "A Boy Named Sue"? I have one of his compilations albums with that song but the damn record label bleeps out the MF word! :( (i think that version was live from Folsom Prison - very good all except for the aggravating bleeping). I want a non-bleeped Cash version of that song.
