I left the office at 16:11 yesterday. I arrived home at 23:20. Normally speaking, it would only take me approx. 30 minutes. All because of a bit of snow (10 - 15 cm's) and icy roads.

If we see it go supernova, would mean that it already happened 3,260 years ago.. Would be interesting to see a calculation from time of going Supernova, when radiation would hit Earth :) (or an estimate at least). I believe matter in such cases will travel at 370.000km per second.

Could you capture the exact error message and provide some detail as to when it happens ?

If you get the issue in what ever boot sequence (including save mode), save to say it's not a driver issue. I'm suprised it the BSOD doesn't provide more detail in regards to the issue though. It usually states what the issue may be. You state no recent hardware changes, but what about software changes ? Do you have any software installed from Trend Micro (anti virus) ? If so, try uninstalling it. 1) Click Start , and then click Control Panel. 2) Double-click Add or Remove Programs. 3) Click PC

How old is the DVD player ? My brother had a similair issue. We tried everything, from updating software to flashing the drive. Nothing worked. He then bought a new drive for 30 euro's and all is working fine again. Last time I spent that much time on something that can be replaced for 30 euro's...

Stories I heared so far is that it's very similair to World of Warcraft, though with better graphics. I ordered the collectors edition. Start Wars: The Old Republic - Not sure on the release date, but great anticipation from the community. Seems like a game that will be played by lots. Diablo 3 - No release date as of yet, but obviously has a large fan base. Blizzard knowing, it'll be a great hit. Startcraft 2 - No release date yet either. However, the same as for Diablo 3, large fan base. I'll try and update a bit more later :)

Yup, I was part of the Landsraad at some point. And yes, the members from back then can still visit the original boards on the Gameheaven forum. Yes, there was a negative vibe from non members around the Landsraad, how ever, I'd rather remember the positive ones. It wasn't all bad the Landsraad did. At the time when Generals came out (yes, the original), we held a E:BFD contest out of name of the Landsraad. Members of the Landsraard were not allowed to participate. The prize was a copy of C&C Generals. After having agreed with EA to provide us a copy for the contest, I ended up paying for it and shipping it myself. I can't exactly remember the name of the person who won, but he came from Estonia or close by. Ahh those good 'ol times....
