i was playing 1v1 with afstud59 and it went out of sync....

i rejoined his game and he said I quitted because i was losing...

the game was 1v1, fishers plain, pre built and 30k.

i was atreides, he was harkonnen

he went straight for the devo drop. he got 1 of them in and blew up 1 of my cons and a barracks. I blew up his other 2 devos before than landed. I then blew up all his carryalls (he only had 3 harvs and he had NO CASH) i stole his last have with a carryall. i then dropped in 5 minos and blew up 1 of his cons,3refs and ALL his units. by the end i had 2 elite minos with half health in his base......it then went out of sync.

HE SAID I WAS LOSING

i said what u talking about...u had no army with 2 minos in ur base

he said i dont know what game u were watching.

he then said and i quote "i blow up 2 of ur buildings and u quit"

so who do u think was winning???

a guy with 5 drones and over 10 minos

or a guy with NO units and 2 minos in his base.

by the way, when it went out of sync he had:

1 starport

1 hangar

1 barracks

1 factory

1 outpost

well......that was my encounter with a n00b

Well I've come across this kind of thing before and I can difinitively say that you were losing. Few people realise that as soon as they get a mino inside my base I immediately unleash my ultimate weapon. I call it the POWER BUTTON! With but a single click it can disable everything on the map, rendering it as black as thickest night!

I HAD 8k, 10 MINOS, 8 DRONES, 3-5 ADVANCED CARRYALLS, 4 SNIPERS and a FULL BASE CONSISTING OF:

2 factorys

1 barracks

2 hangars

and of course power

lol, this is a joke, buzzsaws (which is what he was building due t low cash) cannot stop 2 elite minos, which was soon to be more after i flew some more over.

Lol, I remember quite some time ago, there was a game I played on Sandy Pass. Settings were everything off, and 10k. I was Harkonnen, the other player (I remember his nick quite clearly, but won't disclose it for privacy and courtesy reasons) was Atreides. My BO went like this:

Barracks

Factory

Refinery

Refinery

Hanger

His BO was very sad... and very amusing at the same time. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry, I'd never seen anything like it before. I've long ago deleted the screenshot, but if you could have seen it, you would have seen two windtraps and a construction yard, with walls going up around it...

By the time he'd finished with his walls, I already had a sizeable infantry/trooper/buzzsaw/assault tank/missile tank/ and gunship combination ready (yes he took quite awhile with his walls). I'd scouted his base at the start anyway, and could see the whole story unfolding. I asked him how long he'd been playing, and he didn't reply. So I just crushed him. :P

yes well, it makes you a former demi-god-like player who lost all his skills (and quite possibly his sanity, based on some of his posts on this board) by an Act of God (i'm guessing) as punishment for his immoral sins.

Oh deer god navaros. I decide to drop by and say hello to my old emperor buds and the first thread i open is littered by the same bs you've been spewing for years. Arrogant, disrespectful trash. Incase you guys havn't noticed there are not "super" players in emperor. If you actually think you are something special nav, because you are one of the better emperor players, then open your eyes and go play an RTS that is actually in popularity right now. (Generals or WC3) I guarantee you that you would get the royal sh|t kicked right out of you even if you put in twice the hours you have already put into emperor. When I quit emperor a good 15 months ago, the community was already weak and rather small at best. I don't even want to guess at how miniscule it is now. Yet the best thing you have to do is razz people about how good you are, and how much more time you spend playing video games compared to them. If Ace spent 1/10th the time you do playing games he'd use your face as a mop as he once did back in the day. Heck, I could probably boot up emperor now - havn't played it in over a year - and I'd most likely own you like the little arrogant noobie you are. Better yet, come over to generals and I'll show you what's up dude.

Westwood closed the ladder, but we're making a new one, reducing the three minute rule, and we'll actually monitor the ladder for cheats and correct games that have already been played! And surprisingly, the reduction in emp players has been minimal over the last year, not that I've been playing much if at all.

i play war3 and yes i suck at it, but the fact is, even the *VERY BEST* War3 players have a win percentage averaging around only 65%! LOL the reason is not because the community is larger. yes, i admit that is a factor. but even so, games like War3 are just a matter of *happening* to have *already* built the proper units to counter your enemy with before you first run into him. there is no "skill" involved in War3 once all players in the game play at a level that is just a bit above average. it's 90% SHEER DUMB LUCK that determines the Winner in War3. that is why War3 is a babyish POS and Emperor is King (except Emperor sucks because it's a dead game). that is also a main reason why War3 is so popular compared to Emperor - War3 appeals directly to the Babyish Kid Market (the same one who get their jollies out of playing WindWaker ROFL) and to keep them happy, *anyone* can Win on a regular basis in War3 since Winning is not a matter of skill.

razorox - show me another non-dead RTS that has Emperor's interface and not the horrible, clunky, awkward Blizzard-type interface, and i'll gladly master that too. unfortunately, i don't know of any non-dead RTS with the Westwood-type interface but I am eager for one to come out

ummmm you are so out to lunch i dont even know where to start.

1.) Ok we'll start with saying that first off, alot of the *better* wc3 players have about 65% win percentages is because they actually play eachother instead of going 30-0 against noobies and then claiming you are the undefeatable king of RTS gaming. And before you go making ignorantly retarded posts such as that one you might want to go research and realize that some of the top wc3 players have records of 117-1, and 166-6, 155-11 i could go on for hours listing people who have records that seem to render your fantasies of wc3 being "luck" quite absurdly uninformed.

2.) If anyone can win at wc3 then howcome you cant? If you practiced 6 hours a day for a year and played any of the top 20 WC3 players 20 games each. I would bet you $1000 that you would lose every single one any map, any time. Why? Because they are better than you. (Better than me for that matter too). WC3 is not a game of "luck" as many noobies like yourself like to think, although it does not matter quite so much as to what units you build to win the game, which i kind of dislike. But where WC3 is defined is in it's requirement to micromanage. It really does make emperor look simple when you see the amount of micromanagement required to win a WC3 game when you are watching top players. Another thing - I would also bet you that if the top WC3 player spent a month playing emperor, he would be able to royally and utterly slap you around at your own game like a little school girl. You have no idea what skill is nav. You are so engrossed in your own unrealistically self-beneficial world of gaming that you dont even realize how atrociously biased and ignorantly stated almost all of your posts are regarding other games. By saying this I don't expect you to turn around and look over the other side of the fence, because I know that you have straight-forward narrow-minded vision, and to turn your head that sharply might subject you to something you may not want to accept. The fact that there is more to life than trolling forums and gaming. The fat that no matter how long you spend playing emperor that there will always be someone better than. The fact that nobody likes you and you have NEVER, not ONCE stopped to inquire why.

3.) I begin to wonder why i waste my time coming to these boards when every time all i get is more bs spewed into my face by the same uneducated bafoon, and one big throbing headache. Why oh why didnt gob keep you banned? *sigh*
