I bought an nvidia geforce fx 5200. They are way underrated because at the beginning their drivers sucked and the first model (geforce fx 5800) was idiotically loud and extremely slow compared to it's rival radeon 9800. anyways even though the 5200 is a little slower, it offers so much stuff with it! it allows for all the 3d tools like vertex shaders blah blah, and the cool thing is these cards were made with the original team that worked with "3dfx" cards and drivers. anyways to the subject.

It is amazing how realistic computer graphics are becoming. and not just those made for film or by software, but I am talking real time hardware graphics like from games. The demo from Nvidia which is called Dawn is amazing! it is this fairy that dances around and is extremely realistic looking. and also really hot but that is another matter.lol The thing is now days you can run with pure hardware graphics that look almost real. I mean is anybody else blown away by this? and has anybody seen the Dawn demo? if so you can comment on it, and how hot she really is.hehehe :D

bah, i bet your fairy doesn't come anywhere close to being as hot as the "Maria" model from Silent Hill 2 --- by far the hottest CGI model EVER created, in any movie or video game. end of story.

I have heard that site is unreputable.

it is also very funny that the company that makes 3dmark has also been cited with cheating in order to better the scores of ATI cards...

I did not only test this thing with 3d mark, but with sisoft sandra, xlr8tr and other programs, all show that it is on par with other 3d cards out there.

You also have to understand that I got this card because of the capabilities it has. it is cheap, but can perform the same functions as a high end card and still keeps at a speed a little higher than the geforce 3. ATI makes great cards but still fail in areas I really wish they wouldnt in. they are also expensive and saving a hundred bucks or so is a lot. if I can get a card that is close to equaling a radeon 9700 and have the price range completely lower, Ill choose the cheaper card. I know all sorts of people like you who are fans of all sorts of propaganda sites. almost as bad as those who are apart of the anti westwood hate groups.lol

Consider that the site is rather opinionated, but thier sources are good. I've not caught them in a lie yet, and I am really skeptical of news sources these days. It's one of those things where they like to piss the wrong people off on purpose, winning them a bad rap. It's not unbiased journalism, but it's not yellow as I have heard people complain. It's pretty obvious when they are giving thier opionion and not a fact, be we are like minded in our synicisms. And besides all that, they are only reporting what a 3rd party found.

That's the real humor though, ATI was caught cheating the same way a few years back. Now ATI has the lead on the card market, so nVidia is doing the same thing to try and bolster its value. They have alot of money riding on the new cards, and when it comes down too it, they are just as good, if not better, than ATI's, but they tend to cost more and are much bigger. I just find the recent bout of controversy over nVidia's "optimizations" to be amusing, especially in light of ATI's past indescretions.

I also wanted anyone who may be considering the cards to know that they may or may not be getting exactly what they are paying for when they buy these cards.

Forwarned is forearmed, just make sure it runs Emperor well.

This pigeon holes me into a niche that I do not feel comfortable in. That is, to say, it's offensive. It implies a knowledge of me and my methodolgies, for which you are not accurate in describing.

there is knowledge and misinformation though, and I have the feeling yours is biased and therefore misinformation. I did not corner you, only observed that you have the same characteristics as others. If you dont wish for me to feel that way, then dont express those characteristics.

TMA1 i think you need to get some taste in women. the manly ones are not what you should be going for.

Apparently you did not research deep enuff to see the umm more revealing pics of Dawn. There is nothing wrong with short haired women.

Or maybe it's that your not viewing it with a nvidia card and she looks more like Nicole Bass *warning you may not be able to sleep or eat after viewing this... and you may lose control of you bodily functions and soil yourself.... not to forget the possibility of projectile vomiting* on your puter...

Upgrade your PC there is a major difference. ^-^ hey hey with a better vid-card Emp will run fast for you too. ;)

Well, I'm not that fond of Sinead... but I do like T'Pol the vulcan on Enterprise, she has short hair too ;)

She is a singer. . . nothinh compairs to you has been a great hit she had, still has if you asked me.

Hmm... You are right, see I am a secret agent working for ATI. My job is to go from message board to message board and follow any review of an AGP card with a link to inentionally misleading information from irreputable sources about a rivals product. Clearly a bias. I confesss.

But also, I should censor myself or change my sources of misinformation in fear that you may publicly stereotype me. I mean, after all, one link is enough to sum up the whole of one's character isn't it?

Drats! Those passive aggressive posts of yours route us conspiracy thoerist moles out every time. I guess I'll just have to change my propagandist ways. Maybe I'll become one of those jerks who has to discredit or belittle anyone who says something that contridicts what I say.
