Navaros Posted May 19, 2003 Share Posted May 19, 2003 Before you're going to read this, remember to read the rules!--Ken.[hide]you guys know i don't normally play n00b settings, but i figure i'd be nice today since i needed to see if my no nocd crack worked (which it does :), something not even anyone on the editing team knew how to make, btw) so I figure what the heck, i'll play his lame n00b setts (10k, no Fog, no Pre, no Units No LW No Crates, Street Fight). Of course he picks Hark and Ix because he knows that map is heavily biased in favor of Hark since there are rocks ruins everywhere that make it entirely unmanueverable by Minos and endless base entrances which means any good Hark/Ix player would Win in no time flat. note: this map is so ludicrously unbalanced that it's one of the only 2 player maps that was NOT used in QM. so he kills a bunch of my buildings with his lame, heavily-biased n00b setts yet my army is still finally about to decimate him even after my Minos got all tripped-up due to pathfinding bugs as they tried to walk around the rock ruins blocking his base-in, then then he made a rude comment to me and quit!!! how lame! i humored him and his shameful "stacked" settings --- and he doesn't even stay to lose! he stayed only long enough til he knew he would not win, and then quit! i didn't even quit under 3 vs. his loserish rush or at any time during his map exploitation shamefulness! to make matters worse, he was even rude to me before he quit! the name of this rude n00b loser was johndoe66 so unless you wanna get frustrated like me, kick him out of your games whenever you see him. this guy uses some of the lamest "tactics" i've ever seen in my life, and i've seen them all! one of the only lamer things i can possibly think of is the Hark guy who tried using Knife Fight with 1 starting unit so his missile tank makes him win at the start (who of course I quit on Under 3 so he couldn't Win LOL)guess it goes to show that being nice to n00bs does NOT pay off. well, i learned my lesson tonight. see if i ever humor a n00b and play lame stacked n00b setts again.[/hide] Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Navaros Posted May 19, 2003 Author Share Posted May 19, 2003 it was something like: "your wineing made me lose my motivation!", he mighta been trying to say "whining". before he said that, i told him that he really, really, really sucked to not even be able to beat me by using the lamest possible tactics which exploit every available facet of Emperor gameplay. i wasn't whining to him tho, merely stating reality. really, it was my "winning" (which is just one letter off from "wineing", so perhaps he was trying to say "winning" after all) that made him quit 'cause he didn't quit until he knew he was about to get crushed. Navaros Posted May 19, 2003 Author Share Posted May 19, 2003 Before you're going to read this, remember to read the rules!Ok, i'll stop hiding nav's posts now.--Ken.[hide] I hate it when people quit when their losing, basecrushing is one of the funnest aspects of the game.that's an understatement! it's about the ONLY redeeming quality of Emperor these days! what's the point in playing if you're gonna get quit-on as soon as you fend off the other guy's attacks a few times??? there is no point, and there is no fun in that! if someone is gonna dish out failed attacks, he should be man enough to take the retribution that awaits him, especially when *I* am the one dealing it! at least with QM I didn't care if a n00b quit because I'd still Win and get my points, and I could look at the detailed breakdown of recorded stats and laugh myself silly at my incredible domination. but now when they quit, it takes what little fun value is left in Emperor and casts it right into the Abyss. i still have my legendary Black List, but now the legions of n00bs have incurrred my wrath and forced me to start a new list: The Quitting N00b List! I've seen this nonsense happen way too much lately and I'm sick of it. I always tell people not to quit in my games, and if they do it to me twice they get forever banished from playing in my games. But for someone to do this to me after I went out of my way to be nice to him and humor him, he's going on after just one act of lamity! johndoe66, my First Inductee on this new List which I shall nurture for all time.if anyone wants to help contribute to "The Quitting N00b List", IM me and we'll get the ball rolling on that. note: it can only be for guys who always quit on you ***AFTER*** the 3 minute mark since quitting Under 3 is allowable and valid. I believe if you have to quit then iI sell all my building and go for a full frontal assault. In fact I almost won a game because i had so many Kinjal and troops spread in a wide formation against a hark player and he didn't attack with catapults. darkd3th Posted May 20, 2003 Share Posted May 20, 2003 i beleive there is no way to cheat in this game unless u use the out side border to engi drop or drop into your base ix is in the game and guild is in the game its not like u put in a code to get them or somthing and i have a question i've seen tons of people use 10k notheing else includeing me u calling all of use noobs???
