since Anders isn't going to be much help anymore, I have to wait for Gob to get the forum up before I can start effectively recruiting new team members.

A small update:

* Ini scripting is now a bit easier with less restrictions on the appearance of the file itself.

* Ini engine fixed: It now ignores blank spaces in the ini file, and allows you to place comments and code on the same line.

* The main code is cleaned up and put into classes.

* The list box control is now available and supported in the ini scripting language.

Soon to come:

* Label control

* Text field control

* Scroll control(which you can attach to a listbox to add the nice function of being able to reach elements outside the box :P)

So will Mods for this game be quite easy to make?

This game will hopefully be a modder's paradise even with moddable game interface :)

That's why it's taking so long time to make things, because they have to be very modder friendly...

Ini files maybe. Since you seem so enthusiastic I'll see to it that you get access to the S2K forum when it's ready. You may get a glimpse at the programs being designed as part of the engine.

If I can see the INI files I could help in creating new units/buildings maybe even sides and I'm sure many other people would be able to help who have previous INI experience.

Why the delay?

Gob could be busy, Maybe more will be done by then, More "structured", lots of reasons.

Will hopefully work on missions more within a couple of days.

Im admin on a board using the same Yabb stuff and I know its not that hard no more than a few minutes work.

Its not a matter of that Newt... Its the matter of multiple titles and abilities for different titles. The next yabb patch fixes it though, so we have to wait for that.
