Ah, Computer Gamer Magazine also gave BF 1942 GOTY.

If it's so good then I will try it once more. I just need to get my cds back from my friend. I doubt I will ever like it though. But I hope I will get that Unreal Tournament 2003 experience.

I dont like Blizz games, they are just too corny.

In the CNC games, you always felt that you were trying to save/destroy the world, but in starcraft/warcraft series, everything was corny and had no real meathod to get you into the game. Starcraft was OK, not great(The "Only select 12 guys at a time killed it for me) and I kinda like wc3, but I would take any CNC game over any blizz RTS game ever. period

It's to make tha game a bit more tactical and hard.

So you want the game to be as simple as possible?

What about only one type of soldiers, one resourcetype(already in c&c ;D), no groupcap(c&c), one building, one terraintype and one team...

Is this your dreamgame, Dukeleto? ;D

I just prefere the layout of the early C&C games, but thi thread is turning into Westwood vs Blizzard, and with Dukeleto we all know how it is gonna tur out.

I never said that.

I just think nothing should be put in solely for the purpose of adding micromanagement. Especially when there's enough of that already with spells and having to select buildings to construct units.

BTW, one resource type is fine. What's the difference? It's just more base-related chores.

AHEM! You repeated that group cap stuff for a zillion times, and i'm realy bored of it. You may find it irritating, but i love it. It give me much more control over the game.

@Scytale: Some of your awards contradict the ones I got from the EA site... GameSpot and GameSpy, for instance. Now, which company is lying... ;)
