As the Dropships latched on, they started drilling with a drill through the metal, and soon reached the docking bay, where Warriors poured out into it,only to be met by thousands upon thousands of soldiers...

"Admiral we've reached the combat sector."

From far Luster could see the breached convoy ship. Surrounding it is a fleet of unknown alien origin, and wreckages of other human ships. Small explosions could be seen from parts of the convoy ship frequently, looks like a terrible fight is conducting inside.

"Dispatch the Valkaries from 5 carriers. 1000 protect the fleet and the other 1500 prepare for assault. Get 3 dropships and the ES inside to be ready."

Message to the aliens and the other human:

This is Admiral Luster of The Orphans. Identify yourselves and your intensions here. I also request combat to be ceased from both sides.

Valkaries:

XFA-47 Valkarie fighter-bomber. Known for it's small size and high mobility. Standard armanents includes 2 gatling lasers. May carry up to 8 photon missles or 4 nuclear torpedos for fighter/fighter combat or fighter/vessels combat.

ES:

Short for Exo-skeletons. A armor suit that is 8 feet tall, gives up to 89% of original mobility before the user wears the suit. Orginally used for mining operations, The Orphans military drafted them into the force. They become the staple units of the Orphan military. Very high resistance against heat/energy, but relatively weak against physical attacks. Can choose from a wide range of equipments. Standard issue equipment includes a laser rifle, titanium battle axe, and 4 grenades.

Rellik,the Blue Eagle for the battle,received and quickly decoded the human language and sent a message back to them.

"This is Blue Eagle Rellik of the Bene Kelik.Peace is not known,resistance is futile,conquest is obvious.Surrender now or be destroyed."

The Goliaths were reloaded,the automated photon turrets activated, and 300 attack craft ready with lasers and small heat-seeking missiles.

The Orphan fleet had engaged the enemy. After 3 vollies of gauss cannon fire from the destoryers, the Valkaries approaches the Bene Kelik fleet. They suffered losses as they closes the fleet as the Goliaths and photon turrets have a longer range. But soon the valkaries starts to slaughter them near, and had engaged dog-fights with enemy attack crafts. The valkaries flies in small groups of 3 so they could easily outnumber their enemies.

Meanwhile another 500 valkaries had engaged the dropships latched on the convoy. It was just like a target practice as they have no means of countering.

"Report losses!"

"453 down, 88 missing. Admiral, the dropships are cleared off."

"Send in ours!"

250 valkaries had returned to escort the 3 dropships, they now heads towards the convoy...

I'm still waiting until Ex posts what his ship does to my scout ship. Anyway, here's a detailed list of my militairy.

Ground forces

Aside from the regular army wich consists of about 28,000,000 soldiers, there are two seperate divisions.

aq-Fari

Before the Anarotross religion gained prominence on the planet, many hostile factions existed. From the most pious followers of the religion a band of fearsome warriors was trained, originally to safeguard the temples but were eventually used to eradicate (and in some cases convert) all oposition on the planet. After 600 years, this group still exists. The aq-Fari are the elite troops of the Anarotross, harshly trained and with unmatched zeal. There are however no more then 4,000,000 of these fanatics.

aq-Deti

Anarotross who oppose authority are labeled as heretics and put into camps to be "reeucated". The more succesful cases become nearly as zeallous as aq-Fari and are conscripted to serve in the aq-Deti group, an army devision consistant entirely of former criminals and heretics. They are deeply comitted, but psychicly unstable and because of that unreliable in most cases. They are often deployed as cannon fodder or sometimes send on missions were they inevitably commit atrocities as a means of deterrence. The aq-Deti consists of roughly 8,000,000 soldiers.

Fleet

There is the regular fleet, and then there

People were dragged from their homes by Treesinkan Shock Troops and shot in the streets. Blood flowed through the main street of the capital city like a wide and slow moving river, until finally the purge was over. Five thousand terrorist cultists had been executed in a Night of the Long Knives.

awe poop, I really am too busy t okeep up with this so I have my club fleet with carriers full of crab and lion traveling to the planet zion X, ok done.

Rel Tolus stepped out of the transport craft, and entered the outskirts of the desert city Radis. A small number of other dropships touched down as well, and a group of men wearing cloth masks and rifles came from the crafts. The fearsome aq-Fari.

Tolus had just been promoted by the Vinitri assembly to the rank of major, after his succes with dealing with an uprising elsewhere. Again, he had been charged with dealing with rebeling civilians, except that this time the rebels were armed with stolen arms from a nearby army base, and the decision was made to send the aq-Fari to deal with this situation. He himself had never seen them in action, and this was the perfect opportunity to test their capabilities.

He had planned for a standard opening for this sort of operation. A small group of men carrying heavy shield generators would lead the way, acting as protection for a larger group of men behind them. This way they would take the outer buildings of the city.

As it dawned on him that they were losing, Blue Eagle Rellik started a desperate attack.

"All attack craft make a suicide run at opposing units while firing all weapons!!"

The Silver Eagle, Grasikk, heard what he was aying and grabbed the intercom away from Rellik.

"No! All units, IGNORE ORDER!I REAPEAT,IGNORE ORDER! Fly in arc across enemy units and deploy heat-seekers!Goliaths, concentrate fire one at a time on convoy! Photon and laser turrets, attack enemy!"

He put the intercom down and sighed, which sounded like a rasp.

Then he turned to Rellik.

"You'll be lucky if you keep the rank of Warrior after this is over,Blue....Eagle."He spat out and walked away.

Now the tide had turned.

Attack craft poured out of the destoyers, and started flying above the unsuspecting enemy, firing their small heat seeking missiles onto the enemy ships, which tried to follow and shoot at the craft.

Meanwhile, the Goliaths had shot simultaneously at a convoy ship, which absorbed the damage, then ruptures and fissures started appearing on it.Finally, it all blew up in a haze of smoke and debris...

The Redemption was returning to the Sol worldcraf, having encouted nothing of interest.

"20 seconds till docking..." announced the female mechanical voice on the first dropship.

"10 seconds till docking..."

"5...4...3...2......"

Streaks of blue plasmas impacted on the convoy, dextorying it along with the first dropship. The shockwave had also knockout the engines of another dropship.

"Admiral,"

"I saw it! Damn those banstards, they even kill their own people! Drop III, attach to Drop II and return! Send in 250 more valkaries to escort them!"

Meanwhile the missle frigates at the front of the fleet is under heavy fire. The AA missles were very effective against those attack crafts, but there is simply too many of them.

"Deploy 2000 more Valkaires, go assist the missle frigates!"

"Destoryers, Stonehedge! Concentrate fire at the centre of enemy destoryer cluster! "

The turrets on the destoryers start turning and white glow could be seen from them...

Stonehedge:

Special shell for the gauss cannons on Orphan destoryers. Fired at 3X of the speed of normal shell, this one shatters when it reaches the target. A devasating shockwave would be created, destorying any small crafts(up to size of small gunships) in the blast radius. Larger crafts would sustain minor damage but would usually be pushed out of their position, making them easy targets for valkaries. The only problem is that a longer charge time is required for firing Stonehedge.

As Grasikk saw that his attack craft were losing, he shouted in a loud and clear voice,

"Activate (weak)shields!Repeat,activate shields!"

A blue shimmering glowwent around all of the destroyers.

Grasikk almost sighed, then he noticed that all the enemy destroyers' turrets were turning white-blue.

Gauss cannons!

He turned his attention to the Goliaths.

"All Goliaths, fire on enemy destroyer TURRETS!"

The Goliaths, not totally reloaded, fired off a few weak shots which went streaking towards the Destroyer turrets...

Empire: Control a group of tweleve planets approx. 12 light years from Earth.

Society: the Jes'Esrath are a union between four of the "Packs" (Jes'Estrath society is based like that of a wolf pack). Each "Pack" controls three planets. Each decade a new Superior Alpha is elected by the four Pack Alphas to lead the race.

Packs: Lilat: Primarily economic they make money but do little else.

Troyit: the researchers and scholars of the race their planets are efficient and beautiful.

Broyit: the warrior pack, they are the fearless fighters and honorable warriors.

Castionit: They are the builders of the race and construct on-planet buildings, space stations and starships.

Economic Strength: Economy is based on the export of trillium metal and the galaxy's rarest gemstones, Star stones (imagine a diamond that changes color).

In a temporary HQ in an old office building Tolus planned his next move. Sofar the entire eastern half of the city had been conquered and most of the rebels there were either killed or had fled. Nobody would surrender volunteerely out of fear of being put into a reeducation camp.

A fleet of VTOL gunships flew over the office building to hunt down rebels in the western part of the city. This conflict was drawing to an end, Tolus thought.

Seeing the "slugs" all turning to one direction, instead of helping AA defence, the Valkaries closes in to slaughter them, but...

Some of the photon missles exploded infront of the Goliaths, some even worst, just bounced off, and not exploding until it's faraway. Only few did perform like usual.

"This is Black 1, weapon faliure!"

"Fenrir 13, weapon failure!"

Chaos erupted between the Valkaires attack the enemy fleet.

"Admiral, there are massive reports of weapon failure..."

"From?"

"Up to 95% comes from the assault group, and most of them have the same problem."

"Tell'em to cease attacking the ships. Fly around the enemy ships, engage any attack crafts at will. Make sure they hold the enemy crafts!"

At the same time the shots from the goliaths hits the destoryers. Eventhough the shots are weakened, the accuracy is high and they become too concentrated fro the shields to nullify...

The 2 destoryers at the front of the delta took most of the shots. One had erupted into a fireball due to the Stonehedge shell being hit, causing a chain reaction. Another had lost 2 out of it's 3 main guns and is barely standing.

"Destoryer 204 sunk! Destoryer 210 condition red!"

"Evacuate 210! All destoryers, disable all unnecessary ship functions, and chnnal the power to shields and the cannons! Concnetrate shields at turrets and the front!"

On destoryer 208...

"Is everyone ready?" shouted the ship commander in his space suit.

"Engines offline, ship rader offline, AA system offline, LSS(Life support system) offline..."

The shields almost broke down under the barrage, but weakly held.

"All Goliaths, aim for one Destroyer at a time!"

The Goliaths, now fully reloaded,all except 2(Who aimed at the weakest Destroyer)aimed at 1 Destroyer at a time.8 Laser shots sped through the space, heading for a Destroyer...

"Activate flechette turrets!"

"Flechette turrets, fire at destroyer gauss cannons!"

Onboard the Boyit battleship Sp'ec'terea Fleet Alpha Jie Tryt stared at the frothing abyss that was the border of the Jes'Estrath system's border. It was time for neutrality to end.

He ordered the fleet to proceed forward through the nebula.

And found himself and his fleet already in a war.

The Vinitri assembly had ordered for more and more exploration vessels being send out to search for possible aliens. The Koratross, the militairy class of society, wasn't told what the purpose of all this was, but they obeyed.

A stream gate opened in a distant solar system and a scout came through. Immediately it scanned for ships in the vicinity- and he found one. It was a ship of the Argonians, with wich the Anarotross never had contact before.

The senior comm officer rushed up to the brige, and found Sol'Azret standing looking at the starmap, "Milord" the comm officer said "we have found another ship, and it isn't one of ours" "well" the duke replied "send this message to them"

the massive carrier orbited the planet of zion X

"launch sequence initiated"

hundreds of pods fell from the carrier

'once they landed the dragon would be awake' thought hte general to himself watching thousands of drop pods fall from the several carriers.

the pod gentaly landed, its thrustes making loud whooshing noises. with a loud hiss the foour hatches on hte egg shaped pod opened, out ran five men from each hatch, hundreds of thousands of men with red armor and red wings attached to thier armor ran from the pods. a few jumped into the air, thier wings flappings with the jet thruster between the wings.

" general our dragon divers have landed shall we have the lion send in some troops and the crab armorede vehicle and mechs?"

" not yet, I want our men to secure a bigger area first"

the commander walked from his pod instead of plasma rifles and flame throwers , also called the dragons breath, he had two dragon fang blades on each of his armored gauntlets. a small group militia ran at some of hte dragon, the four dragon leaped into the air, three shot thier plasma rifles killing 7 of hte 20 militia, the fourth spewed napalm from his flame thrower lighting hte 13 remaining militia ablaze, their screamed quickly died out as the other three shot into the inferno.

"Incoming!!"

The second wave of laser hit the destoryers. 210 had met it's fate. It snapped into two halves after taking the first two shots, then is reduced to nothing after taking two more shots for 208, which is behind it...but still the remaining destoryers were being hit.

"Shields down to 18% at turrets, 2% at the front!"

*Carrier flagship, Dragonlance*

"Report status!"

"210 is destoryed! All destoryers had their shield down to not more then 30%! The destoryers would be in red if they take one more blast of such scale!"

"How long until firing?"

"Charging of Stonehedge is not affected! 060, +/-005 till firing!"

"Order the assault group to return! Make sure they're out of the blast range!"

At the same time...

"Incoming!"

Vollies of metal lances hit the destoryers. They seemed to be aimed at the turrets but it dosen't have the pinpoint accuracy like the laser cannons. White sealents oozed out at where the flechette shots had hit, filling the air leaks.

Silver Eagle Rasikk saw that they were winning, but also saw that the gauss cannon was almost charged up...

"All units, fire on any destroyers!"

2 Goliaths fired on a destroyer,1 on another,3 for another, and so on.

Attack craft attacked in unison at the destroyers, and the turrets fired randomly at the destroyers, willing to hit their own men if they needed to...

Ok,I think I'm godmodding,I'll let myself get blown away.

The Destroyers took heavy losses,but nevertheless managed to fire their enhanced gauss cannons.

When the shots impacted,attack craft were blown away, the shields tried to hold but were destroyed,the Goliaths thick armor pealed off and revealed the soft,fleshy skin,which was soon burned, and the turrets were torn apart.The force of it knocked the destroyers reeling and spinning out of course.

"RETREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAT!"

Grasikk screamed as he felt like he was in a spinning ball. The Destroyers engines ignited barely, and the now mall fleet limped off, with heavy losses...
