What are the special abbilities in the third stage of veterancy of every unit.

I know that some have self repair or sthealth.

Light Infantry - extra health, additional damage, self repair, extra armor

I think that more should get stealth. luckily in skirmishes theres stealth crates! i got a stealth sand-bike and a stealth engineer. the stealth enigeer is very valuable. just sneek him in, and before they know it, one of there buildings is pumpin out enemy units! especially effective aginst human players because guard mode doesn't atomatically atack buildings, but the AI automatically does.

there is another special ability for atreides infantry at level 3...

if you get, say an atreides sniper to level 3, you can put him inside the barracks (same way you would capture a building with an engineer) when doing this, all the rest of the snipers you make will automatically come out at level 1.

If you do this with 2 snipers, all the snipers after that will be level 2, if you do it with 3 then they will all be level 3..

and when a sniper is at level 3 it is stealth, but it's only as stealthy as a scout (not perminently cloaked, only for short distances)

A few times when i was playing a game I made a group of 12 level 3 sardaukar.

7 Imperial Sardaukar and 5 Elite sardaukar.

All stealthed from crates. Boy that was fricken awsome. Nothing got in there way. God dam it took so long though. Set them up to train on infantry rock and i go back and there all dead and a mino is walking away. Im like :-X lol

But I got there eventually.

I noticed that the units do not have a different weapon when they become elites.....e.g. Like in Red Alert 2,the grizzly battle tank could get the 'mushroom cloud' gun when they had 3 chevrons

I don't know if it is possible to mod that. But there are no new weapons for veterans default. Only range and damage bonus

This was answered before. And Emperor isn't a scapegoat. It wasn't used to test things. It was the first of a new concept
