All the people in Iraq love Saddam. That's why they are still there. Those who don't like him all ran away to North America and anyone who doesn't like him has had ample opportunity to do that. North America takes *anyone* in, most especially Canada.

You think anyone who didn't love Hitler during 1940 had any chance of escaping?

He got 100% of the Vote in Iraq's last election. The people love him so much, and that such love is incomprehensible by Western Society and they are jealous that their own society is too mentally inept to uniformly stand behind a great leader of their own, since no great leaders exist in North America. Just average joes with lots of $$$ who are all pretty much the same, hence the people are not allegiant to any one.

Saddam is like the Noble Duke Atreides; all his people love him and are loyal to him to the Death. Bush is exactly like Baron Harkonnen, a deviant, immoral, power-hungry savage with incredible military force behind him, but with an undisciplined and disloyal following. Some of his own psychotic troops even blow up their own battalion and kill their best friends, just as would be expected from House Harkonnen.

How do you know it was their best friends? Did you know them personally? Have it ever occured to you that the trooper got pissed of, or was mentally ill? Would you call a person who kills someone you know a friend? Maybe he was a terrorist?

The similarites between USA and House Harkonnen are uncanny. Perhaps it's an Omen, or something.

No, it is not. It is only your blind hatred for America. You hate them because they have succeeded. You hate them because they work hard to earn their own money. You hate them because you can never live life as wonderfully as they can. But then again, everyone who does not work hard always blames the rich. If you would have been a rich man now, you would just've shut up. But noo, just because a country dares to stand up and fight all the evil in this world, other countries that can't take part only sits on their asses and talks until the day they die. What if Hitler would have been alive today? What if the Third Reich would still be intact in this moment? We got plenty of resources. Would you blame the US if they invaded the Third Reich today? No? Would the protesters walk the streets if this scenario happened? Of course not. They don't even care what it's all about. The only thing they care about is that the US is about to do something, and that they have the right to demonstrate against it. Think of all the students. They don't protest against the war. They join the protesters because they have a reason not to go to school. Do they really think they can change anything? Anyone who is good in school, high grades etc, do not demonstrate. Everyone I know who have high grades don't. Even those who hate the US.

So in the end, your argumentation about the US being Harkonnen is false. Anyone can be Harkonnen. You, me, Saddam, Gob ( :P ) etc.

It is only your point of view.

O/T Not all people who work their arse of gets rich, it's easier to become rich when you are born with a golden spoon up the arse. I hope I'll never become a rich and cynical man that only looks out for my own interrests but also take care of people less fortunate.

Ass for the one getting high grades not demonstrating I believe your wrong, in this country it's the interlectuals who demonstrate. I don't like the war and I think it's destroying the UN. Anyway I hope that there will be found as much WMD so that it can be demonstrated to the UN that Iraq was holding information back. I agree with you Dude_Doc that many of these demonstrants only goes because of the day off in school, and that they don't know a thing about how war is faught today, otherwise they wouldn't be that quick to say that hundreds of thousands innocents will die, if they do it will most probaly be by gas attack from we know who.

The reason why I dislike this war is because of the way it has split up the world. I believe many dislike Bush's right winged christian crusade statements. I asked one yesterday if he had seen how the arab world looks at this issue the demonstrations, their fears etc. The Arabs thinks this is a holy crusade for oil and to opress the Arabs. And raising an American flag doesn't exactly help anything.

Now Turkey wanna play the role as peace holder to the north, and anyone with just a slight knowledge of turkish history would know how the Kurds who lives there feels about that. Also if the Kurds will get their own state other Kurds in the region will get the same idea and we will have a new crisis.

Then why did the Muhammedanians attack us here in Europe? Why did we wage battles in the past? The crusades. First it was about getting land, then about religion. They hate us because they can't live like we. Have you ever asked yourself why all Iraqis waited until now to overthrow Saddam? So, all protestors said "They don't need the USA and the UK, they can deal with Saddam themselves".

So yes. Why did one man kill another in the beggining? What would he gain? Cain killed Abel because he was jelaus. It is the same thing today...

Let's really put this in perspective shall we?

Saddam Hussein is the Harkonnens. He has oppressed and murdered his own people for his own ends. The people have risen up against him, but because of his superior forces has brutally put them down.

The Iraqi people are the fremen. They are the oppressed tortured people by a evil dictator who uses them for his own gains.

The Americans are the equivelant to Paul and Jessica leading them to their own liberation.

The difference between the USA and the Atredies is that we will return power of Iraq to the people after we have liberated them.

I think that some of you need to read the Dune books a little more because the Atreides do not liberate the fremen, rather they set them into a jihad that creates opression throughout the universe. In this way, I will agree, we are nothing like the atreides.

What source do you need? I was not stating the opinion of others just my own. I expect you to be able to counter my points, but instead you start whining about Americans attacking you. HOW ARE THE AMERICANS LIKE THE HARKONNENS? WHY IS MY POINT NOT VALID? That is what is expected in a debate, not whining about the other side attacking you viewpoints. How is my comparison not valid?

Now, you'll have to forgive me if I don't respond in the near future. I have more beer to drink elsewhere, but I will be back in a few hours. Then we can continue this stimulating discussion.

Lt Gen 'Chemical' Ali gave the orders to gas the kurds.......I forgot his name but I know its something like Ali.....I know those Baath faggots are bastards as well.......but USA can make saddam fuck out of his throne but they might also control the oil wells,but noone dares to blurt it out in the press.

USA should get rid of the WMD first before eating fish head curry with 'saddam's head' sauce.

The most dirty, in my oppinion, that USA did, was to actually bomb Iraqi military installations many months before the war started...
